A new video has hit social media showing a Chevy Malibu driver merging directly into an enormous semi truck, with the resulting collision stripping the rear bumper off the silver sedan. The video was captured by a dash camera mounted on the semi truck. Looking at the nearby traffic signs, it appears as though this incident occurred in Missouri.
The video opens to show a busy multilane freeway, with a merging lane on the right. The sun is low in the sky, but visibility is good, with blue skies above clean, dry pavement.
As the video gets under way, we see the semi truck driving with the flow of traffic in the rightmost lane as the merging lane intersects up ahead. A line of cars are seen in the merging lane, including a silver Chevy Malibu sedan. Just ahead of the Chevy Malibu is a black sedan, which is moving quite slowly, especially compared to the faster moving traffic on the freeway in the adjacent lanes.
Suddenly, we see the silver Chevy Malibu start to pull out into the adjacent lane – directly in front of the semi truck. It appears as though the driver in the Malibu is frustrated by the slow-moving sedan ahead of them, and moves to pass.
Unfortunately, the Chevy Malibu driver fails to check their mirrors and cuts directly in front of the massive semi. The semi truck driver attempts to move over, but another truck is blocking the left lane. The silver Malibu collides with the front end of the semi truck, rocking back and forth before clipping the truck a second time as the semi driver hits the brakes.
We see the rear bumper on the Chevy hanging off the damaged sedan. The two drivers pull off a bit further up the road, and we see the Chevy Malibu driver exit the sedan and walk up to the truck driver to have a few words.

Secretary Hegseth, next time designate a driver.

Looks like the video is RIP.
Nice try at Instagram Clik Bait .
btw … $20 it’s a Dem .
People need to re – learn the basics of driving. An accident like this was totally avoidable
and the driver of the Malibu should have to re – take their driving test again before being allowed on the streets .
