Following the announcement of the brand’s EV portfolio marketing slogan in China in late 2023, General Motors has just unveiled new Cadillac LOVE utility vehicle family for the first time in the Asian country.
The automaker’s luxury brand officially unveiled the new LOVE crossover and SUV family during Auto Shanghai 2025, China’s flagship international motor show that has recently opened its doors. Cadillac is showcasing its full LOVE model range for the Chinese market for the first time at the automotive event, consisting of the all-new Cadillac Lyriq-V, Cadillac Optiq, Cadillac Vistiq and Cadillac Escalade IQ – making their local debut.
“Today, we’re not just unveiling a new lineup of vehicles. It is a moment where we stand at a turning point in time, expressing our deep commitment to the future,” said Vice President of Cadillac in China, Will Stacy. “In the new era of electrification, our passion for what’s next remains unwavering,” he added.
More than two years after being teased, Cadillac’s new LOVE EV utility vehicle family was finally unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2025, piggybacking on the local debut of the all-new 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V, which is ready for sale in China. In fact, the high-performance midsize crossover will soon become the first V-Series model manufactured in that country and will go on sale in the coming months as the flagship version of the Lyriq.
In addition to revealing the final configuration of the Lyriq-V for the Chinese market, Cadillac also showcased the all-new Cadillac Vistiq and Cadillac Escalade IQ for the first time in China, confirming plans to introduce them in the country to bolster the lineup as the top models of the new LOVE EV family. While the Vistiq has been testing in China for some time now and will be manufactured locally, it is still unclear how the new Cadillac Escalade IQ will arrive in China.
The new Cadillac LOVE EV utility vehicle family showcases the brand’s ambitions and confirms the brand’s strong commitment to an all-electric future with a lineup of cutting-edge vehicles that redefine market standards. The Lyriq-V stands out as Cadillac’s fastest production model to date, while the new Cadillac Vistiq and Escalade IQ will lead the technological charge in their segments.

Embarrassing.
Cadillac finally stopped chasing BMW (V and V-Sport to mimic M and M Sport among other things) and has now gone full-on after Tesla. Musk famously says his cars are S E X Y with the Model S, Model 3 (E), Model X, and Model Y. So now Cadillac has to copy that and say their lineup is L O V E for heaven’s sake! Can’t they have an original thought anymore? Cadillac used to be the leader. Everyone else followed them. Sadly that ended long ago.
And newsflash to GM, the S E X Y acronym probably trumps the L O V E abbreviation for cars every single time.
Pass the barf bag, please. One of Mary’s female cronies is behind this, no doubt. What a waste of time.
Embarrassing .
GM …. Automotive Manufacturer … or Dating Website ?
And they paid who how much for this?
But shouldn’t it be OLVE…if you stay in order of the size? Haha
Since it’s all garbage, steal Ioniq for between Lyriq and Vistiq and you have OLIVE. 🫒
C L O V E if you include the zero sales Celestcalade beached whale. Personally they should rename to spell D U L L E V .
Love. Isn’t that Subaru’s tagline?
I would rather have FEDS: Fleetwood, El Dorado, DeVille, Seville.
A woman came up with the IQ naming structure and all the names. The names are just ridiculous. A woman also created the LOVE campaign. I am certain of it.
It is “pathetIQ” if you ask me…
Funny how she came up with IG but lacks IQ
They also have
Celestiq
Ascendiq (trademarked)

Only in America, everyone on here is concerned how Cadillac is marketing it’s slogan in China and acting like it is the end of the world. Absolute hysterical comments.
