About Cadillac CT5

The refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 reveals new styling and tech, more standard safety features, and new advanced ones. Its contemporary styling includes an updated front fascia and a lower, wider front grille. Inside, the refreshed CT5 features an all-new 33-inch touchscreen with 9K resolution and a customizable user interface.

The GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system is standard on the 2025 CT5, refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5-V, and updated Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, when the latter is equipped with the optional automatic transmission. The 2025 CT5-V gets standard heated seats and steering wheel along with a revised Platinum Package. The 2025 CT5-V Blackwing gets a new Precision Package, available in manual or auto. Here are the 2025 Cadillac CT5 paint colors, the interior colorways, and available wheels. In fact, the 2025 CT5 has quite an eccentric color palette.

The updated 2025 CT5 is equipped as standard with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 237 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. More power is available with the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine, rated at 335 horsepower at 5,400 rpm and 405 pound-feet of torque at 2,350 rpm, which is optional on the Premium Luxury trim. The GM 10-speed automatic transmission handles cog swaps.

Meanwhile, the LGY engine and ten-speed automatic transmission are standard on the 2025 CT5-V but rated at 360 horsepower. The CT5-V also gets Performance Traction Management with Launch Control included as standard, along with Magnetic Ride Control and an electronic limited-slip differential.

Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional on all these variants.

The refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing represents the fourth model year for the ultra-high-performance luxury sedan, and a new limited-edition variant has been revealed as part of the ongoing Collector Series portfolio, namely the Le Monstre Edition. Notably, manual-equipped models lose this handy audio feature.

Meanwhile, the refreshed 2025 CT5-V Blackwing continues to be motivated by the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, and the 10-speed auto is optional – both exclusively powering the rear wheels. A decade later, Cadillac still offers the choice of manual or automatic transmissions.

Launch Control with Line Lock, Magnetic Ride Control, Performance Traction Management, and Brembo front and rear brakes are all standard features.

Pricing for the 2025 Cadillac CT5 reveals that the new base-level Premium Luxury is $4,800 more expensive than the equivalent trim level offered for the 2024 model year, pushing the starting price of the CT5 up to $49,090. The Sport trim costs $4,600 more for 2025 as well. All prices listed include an April 2025 destination freight charge increase from $1,395 to $1,495. Meanwhile, pricing for the 2025 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing​​ shows the CT5-V now $5,600 more expensive than the 2024 model year, with the six-speed-manual CT5-V Blackwing now $2,200 more and units of the CT5-V Blackwing equipped with the GM 10-speed automatic now $5,300 more. The most expensive 2025 CT5-V Blackwing rings in at over $165K, fully loaded, while the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre Edition costs an extra $32,500.

Many Cadillac models received a destination freight charge increase, including all CT5 trims and variants, bumping it $100 to $1,495.

We have confirmed that there will be a 2026 Cadillac CT5 following the 2025 model year refresh. Production of the 2026 CT5 is scheduled to begin on June 2nd.

GM Authority has also confirmed that no internal combustion replacements are planned for the Cadillac CT4 and CT5.

  1. Not too long after I got my 2022 CT5 that Cadillac dropped their entry level version, which I bought. Then they jacked up the prices. To the tune of almost 15K. Smooth move Mary. I know that your annual salary and bonus can only go so far…
