All-New 2025 Chevy Traverse Officially Launches In Chile

General Motors has just officially launched the all-new 2025 Chevy Traverse in Chile, after the new-generation three-row crossover made its South American debut in Colombia back in February.

The automaker’s South American subsidiary launched the all-new 2025 Chevy Traverse in Chile, which has the largest automotive market among the five countries that make up GM South America’s new Pacific Cluster structure, comprised of Chile, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, and Bolivia. The new 2025 Traverse arrives with a new design, technology, and powertrain offering to strengthen Chevrolet’s broad portfolio of utility vehicles in the Chilean market.

“We continue working to have a comprehensive portfolio in each market and achieve a world with zero accidents, zero emissions, and zero congestion, as part of our vision. In 2025, we will continue to focus on the fastest-growing segments in the region and in Chile, such as SUVs, pickup trucks, and electric vehicles,” said Pacific Cluster Commercial Director at GM South America, Raúl Mier. “The new Traverse is an example of this,” he added.

Just like in the Colombian market, the all-new third-generation 2025 Chevy Traverse launches in Chile with a single, well-equipped Midnight trim level boasting a blacked-out finish, based on the American-market LT. The model comes standard with a three-row 2+2+3 interior, the best passenger and cargo space in its segment, as well as the most advanced infotainment system with a 17.7-inch touchscreen.

Mechanically, the 2025 Chevy Traverse Midnight is powered by the new turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 engine that develops 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, coupled exclusively to GM’s eight-speed automatic transmission. This configuration for the South American market includes an all-wheel drivetrain and five driving modes: Normal, Sport, Wet, Off-Road and Towing.

The all-new 2025 Chevy Traverse is now available for reservation at all official Chevrolet dealerships in Chile, where deliveries of the brand’s largest crossover are expected to begin during the second quarter of the year. The Traverse becomes the 16th model and the 9th utility vehicle offered by the Bowtie brand in that country, representing the broadest offering in the entire market. Here’s the price of the new 2025 Traverse in the Chilean market:

  • 2025 Traverse Midnight AWD: 45,490,000 pesos ($45,550 USD at the current exchange rate)

  1. You can buy a Traverse in Chili but not in the good ol USA. How’s that for supporting the people that made GM.
