As GM Authority has covered numerous times in the past, Chevrolet is set to introduce a C8 Corvette interior update in conjunction with the 2026 model year, with GM Authority spy photographers catching glimpses of the changes in a selection of prototype models spotted testing on public streets. Among the changes is an overhaul for the center console, dash, center stack, infotainment, and HVAC controls. Now, it appears as though the updated 2026 Corvette interior design has already been leaked.
As spotted by the folks at HorsePower Obsessed, the new interior design for the 2026 Corvette was leaked through the GM parts catalog, which shows the new layout as a diagram drawing.
Starting with the infotainment setup, the new interior once again includes twin digital screens mounted side-by-side in a horizontal layout, however the main screen appears to be larger, possibly 10 to 12 inches, and should be higher resolution as well. Also notable is an additional screen located to the left of the digital driver information readout.
One of the most impactful updates is deletion of the so-called “wall of buttons” that bisects the cabin in the current model, as GM Authority covered before. Now, the climate controls and related hard buttons are located under the infotainment screen.
Other updates are expected to include a flatter panel hood and other dash design tweaks, exposed cup holders that will match the interior color, a toggle switch for the Magnetic Ride Control, and a wireless phone charging pad with a color-matched “pillow” cover to secure the phone. The new cabin is also expected to be available in a few new interior colors, including a cobalt blue (almost purple) hue, as well as a new red-and-white combo color.
More broadly speaking, the 2026 Corvette is also set to debut a new range-topping model, namely the hybrid-powered Corvette Zora, which will up the ante with even more power and performance than the twin-turbo C8 ZR1. As always, we’ll be on top of it to bring you the latest as it happens, so stay tuned.

Looks nice, the wall of buttons is derp.
one way or the other, a car type really do not admire, sibcere do not understand what teenagers see in those cars
Average age of C8 buyers is 60 plus, but ok, teenagers…smh
No 3.0L?
Yeah! Truck toggles are in style!
Nice to have an ashtray for my stooges? I miss dome lights and color keyed seat belts too. Although I never wear them cause I might get trapped in my car. The AC vent for my crouch area is missing. Even my Chevette Scooter had it. They just don’t make them like they used too.
Owned and drove them all lest favorite is the C8. Give me the 2008 and up to C8 and I’m happy and can afford it. Greed will kill the Corvette, shame on you all. Still love the C8 transmission but not enough to buy a mid engine.
Pretty obvious David J is a poser and a wannabe -enjoy your Kia
I got a 09 Rondo. What have you got against Kia? I’m a little lazy changing the oil. I got 342k on the clock. Ice Cold air. The power door locks crapped out at 284k, however.
Wow, these are constructive comments.
I like the refresh.
The wall, I just figured it out, The C2 had a vertical center, this almost is an homage to that. Well, that and at least when the passenger hurls from the wild G force antics you can do in a C8 the driver is safe from the spray.
I’m on my fourth C8. Show me a better rig for the money or even twice the money. If you haven’t had or driven one, well you know the drill..
What do you do, trade them in once they need an oil change? Ok MR. Oil sheik. Rest of us are just lucky to get a Corvette, half of us get them used.
I’m getting tired of computer screens in the middle of the dash. Kids stuff.
Looks awful. Nobody wants a TV screen in a sports car – looks cheap and unrefined.
I’m sure the GM designers are influenced by the video gamers & simulators. Think of looking at three screens in your desk while stuck in today’s traffic. Any corvette owner regularly tracking his vette has a C4-7 usually so he can shift and add hp. The C8 is turning into a sim
glad I’m getting final “25. The wall of buttons makes the interior. If I wanted a Cadillac info center I woulda bought one.
Nice. Now I will be able to touch my girlfriend between her legs hahsh
Jokes aside it looks better and they still left the buttons and that’s good
To bad ”Top Gear” is not still around i would love to hear their opinions of the c8 im sure they would really like this car! It would do magic on their test track!
Love the wall. Nice refinement.
A few people were Cuban you would understand how technology is. I don’t see what’s wrong with these TV screens or touch screen computer screens.
Step one: get rid of silly button wall ✅
Step two: return of manual transmission
Now you have a drivers sports car!
