Following an initial debut for the 2024 model year and a round of refinements for 2025, the Chevy Silverado EV enters its third model year with yet more updates and changes, including the launch of the new off-road-focused Trail Boss variant. The 2026 Chevy Silverado EV also brings fresh aesthetic updates, including a series of new exterior paint colors. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the latest 2026 Chevy Silverado EV paint options.
Chevy will add a total of three new colors to the 2026 Chevy Silverado EV lineup, as listed below (relevant color codes listed in parentheses):
- White Sands (G42)
- Polar White Tricoat (G4J)
- Magnus Gray Matte Metallic (GBL)
Critically, all three new shades will be available exclusively for the new Silverado EV Trail Boss variants.
In addition to the three new colors listed above, the 2026 Chevy Silverado EV will also drop Zephyr Blue Matte Metallic (paint code GLG) from the options list. With these updates, the full 2026 Silverado EV color roster includes:
- Black (GBA)
- Blue Smoke Metallic (GAI)
- Habanero Orange (GAG)
- Magnus Gray Matte Metallic (GBL)
- Polar White Tricoat (G4J)
- Riptide Blue Metallic (GJV)
- Slate Gray Metallic (GNO)
- Summit White (GAZ)
- White Sands (G42)
Beyond the new paint color changes, Chevrolet will also shake up the trim level list with several new variants and the deletion of a few others, including the current range-topping RST. Among the most notable introductions is the launch of the new Silverado EV 3WT Standard + Range, which features a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, believed to be a lower-cost alternative to the nickel-cobalt-manganese-aluminum (NCMA) chemistry used elsewhere in the lineup. Production of the 2026 Chevy Silverado EV will once again take place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Detroit, Michigan, while the GM BT1 platform will once again serve as the vehicle underpinnings.

3 whites and 3 grays. How Boring. NO Reds. GM, you ARE the king of BORING!
Habanero Orange is quite close to red. But agreed, they could have came up with more interesting colors. For the same reason I had to get a grey Sierra EV as it was the only color they offered then.
I think I like the lighter or brighter colors over the darker ones for the Silverado but I’m the opposite for the Sierra.
