The automaker revealed all the details and official images of the new 2026 Chevy S10 100 Years Edition in Brazil, a locally manufactured centennial variant of the truck. More than just a commemorative version, the S10 100 Years Edition is a highly customized configuration that represents the pinnacle of Chevrolet’s special-edition model tradition in the country, with this S10 being the 100th edition itself.

“Chevrolet special series are a legitimate way to celebrate important moments in our history and highlight the unique characteristics of our vehicles,” said Product Marketing Director for GM South America, Paula Saiani. “With the S10 100 Years, we celebrate both: the brand’s centenary and the history of a pickup truck that represents strength, innovation and Brazilianness,” she added.

Notably, the all-new 2026 Chevy S10 100 Years Edition introduces a special adventure-focused trim that not only includes cosmetic distinctions, but adds a whole new suite of significant technological enhancements for the 2026 model year. It comes standard with an exclusive Ironman suspension, with custom-designed springs and dampers that raise the truck by 1.2 inches (30 mm) for intense off-roading.

In addition, the 2026 Chevy S10 100 Years Edition is even more rugged thanks to a front-mounted skid plate, dual LED bumper lighting points, an integrated sport bar, fender flares, and 18-inch all-terrain tires that improve its off-road performance. In total, GM says the 2026 S10 100 Years Edition has 22 differences compared to the standard Z71 trim from which it is derived.

The 2026 Chevy S10 100 Years Edition’s customized exterior is complemented by a subdued black interior, typical of the adventurous Z71, while adding Alcantara-trimmed seats. It also receives new technological features for the model, such as Lane Keep Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert on the safety front as well as the Arla 32 emissions reduction system capable of reducing emissions by up to 84 percent.

The new 2026 Chevy S10 100 Years Edition is now available at Chevrolet dealerships in Brazil, the only country where GM manufactures the midsize pickup for the international market. It’s available in an exclusive exterior color called White Dunes, while the powertrain is the same as the other pickup versions, consisting of the 2.8L I4 turbodiesel Duramax engine and GM’s revised eight-speed automatic transmission.

  2. Why can’t we get this here with a hybrid drive train? A small truck would do well against the Maverick. I would never buy a Ford given that the old man published the Dearborn Independent that was anti Catholic and antisemitic.

    1. The S10 is not a direct competitor to the Maverick, but rather to the Ranger.
