The automaker’s African subsidiary has unveiled the new 2026 Chevy Captiva Midnight Edition in key markets across the Middle East region, expanding the family-focused midsize crossover’s range with a sporty new variant. In fact, the 2026 Captiva Midnight joins the existing lineup as the only new trim level for the refreshed crossover’s third model year in Southwest Asian countries.

“Chevrolet introduces the 2026 Captiva Midnight Edition to the region, the latest trim designed to elevate the already popular Captiva with bold and dynamic design cues that add a touch of sports accents to one of the region’s favorite crossovers,” said GM Middle East. “The 2026 Chevrolet Captiva Midnight Edition offers modern families embracing an adventurous spirit with a distinctive style that stands out,” the company added.

Specifically, the 2026 Chevy Captiva Midnight Edition was launched as the crossover’s new top-of-the-line variant in the Middle East, positioning itself above the LS, LT, and Premier trim levels. In fact, the new 2026 Captiva Midnight Edition is essentially based on the Premier model, while adding a bolder look with blacked-out trim, black badges, a two-tone black roof, unique wheels, red accents, and a more refined interior.

First launched in Mexico as the Black Edition variant of the Captiva, the new 2026 Chevy Captiva Midnight Edition comes standard in a three-row, seven-seat configuration, as well as the longest list of technology and safety equipment available in the model. It maintains the turbocharged 1.5L I4 engine with an output of 144 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, coupled exclusively to a continuously variable automatic transmission and a front-wheel drivetrain.

The new 2026 Chevy Captiva Midnight Edition is now available for sale at Chevrolet dealerships in key Middle Eastern countries, where it is the brand’s only compact crossover and is positioned as an affordable offering with a good price-performance ratio. For reference, in the United Arab Emirates, the 2026 Captiva Midnight Edition is priced at AED 92,100, or approximately $25,080 USD at the current exchange rate.
