The official configurator tool for the all-electric 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL is now live at Cadillac’s website, allowing customers to spec the extended-length SUV to taste. The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL got its official debut in March, expanding the Escalade IQ lineup with increased third-row space and added rear cargo capacity. Not only that, but the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL also features all the same interior goodies and cutting-edge features as the standard-length Escalade IQ.
The 2026 Escalade IQL rides on the same 136.2-inch wheelbase as its standard-length sibling, but stretches to an overall length of 228.5 inches, surpassing the 2025 Escalade ESV (227.0 inches), 2025 Chevy Suburban (226.3 inches), and 2025 GMC Yukon XL (225.2 inches) to claim the title of longest GM SUV ever.
Trim levels and pricing are as follows (prices include a $2,290 destination charge):
- Luxury – $132,695
- Sport – $133,195
- Premium Luxury – $152,995
- Premium Sport – $153,495
All variants are motivated by a dual-motor powertrain backed by a 24-module, 205 kWh battery pack, the combination of which delivers 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque with Velocity Max mode engaged. Cadillac estimates a maximum range-per-charge of 460 miles. Properly motivated, this massive luxury SUV can run from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds.
Inside, the Escalade IQL provides significantly more interior room than the standard Escalade IQ, including:
- Third-row legroom increases from 32.3 to 36.7 inches (+4.4 inches)
- Third-row headroom grows to 38.2 inches (+1 inch)
- Third-row shoulder room expands to 57.4 inches (+0.9 inches)
Cargo capacity also sees a few notable improvements:
- Behind first row: 125.2 cu. ft. (+6.1 cu. ft.)
- Behind second row: 75.4 cu. ft. (+6.3 cu. ft.)
- Behind third row: 24.2 cu. ft. (+0.6 cu. ft.)
Standard features include a curved 55-inch pillar-to-pillar infotainment screen, a 21-speaker stereo, system, Air Ride Adaptive suspension with Magnetic Ride Control, and the GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system, while the Premium Luxury and Premium Sport trims include a 38-speaker stereo, Night Vision thermal imaging, and 16-way power front seats.
All Escalade IQL variants ride on the GM BT1 platform, while production will kick off at the GM Factory Zero plant in Detroit halfway through the 2025 calendar year.

With a Great Recession or even a Depression looking more likely by the day, sure, go buy one. And ask for a new brain come Christmas.
You have been saying the same thing for years now, who pee’d in your cheerios? Every analyst, every bank, every economic outlook doesn’t even have a great recession or depression on their radar. But low and behold some grumpy guy on a chat page will keep spreading the false narrative. We got the Harold Camping of the Recession here…
Why not just tell us you can’t afford it?
Absolutely rediculus price for a piece of GM junk.
Well you can spend even more money for a bigger piece of junk. Porsche is more like dumpster trash. Bentley is a over price Volkswagen and a Rolls Royce wont even run for a year before it falls apart. So this is a bargain really. Better built and will last 20 years.
No diesel? Wack.
The configurator has been up for like a week now but everything isn’t showing up yet.
