A new 2025 Jeep Wagoneer Overland Special Edition bowed at the New York International Auto Show and at this year’s Easter Jeep Safari as the most off-road-ready version of Jeep’s full-size SUV. It adds off-road enhancements to the already-capable SUV while retaining the versatility of a full-size SUV with three-row seating.
“The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer Overland Special Edition embodies an authentic, go-anywhere Jeep brand 4×4 experience,” Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said. “From active families to passionate overlanders, we’ve cleverly packaged capability features and content to deliver a full-size SUV that inspires adventure and confidence on every journey, as only a Jeep vehicle can.”
Building on the Series II trim, the list of features the Overland package adds to the Wagoneer includes 20-inch wheels with 32-inch all-terrain tires, the Quadra-Drive II 4WD system with an electronic limited-slip differential and a two-speed transfer case, a Quadra-Lift air suspension system capable of 10 inches of ground clearance, three steel skid plates, Selec-Speed Control (low-speed cruise control for off-roading), a 360-degree camera, two front tow hooks, a removable rear tow hook, and a heavy-duty tow package.
From there, its feature content is similar to that of the Wagoneer Series II. A few highlights of the Series II trim include a Nappa leather interior with heated and ventilated front seats and heated second-row captain’s chairs, a power-folding third row, a Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a 10.1-inch display, Alpine audio, and the safety tech typical of an SUV in this price range.
In most comparable GM SUV to the Jeep Wagoneer Overland Special Edition would be the GMC Yukon AT4. Another close GM analog is the Chevy Tahoe Z71 with the Z71 Off-Road Package, which bundles the Max Trailering Package and the Comfort Package. All of these SUVs in these respective combinations blend 3-row versatility, off-road capability, and upscale comfort and tech features, complete with rugged appearance packages. However, GMC and Chevy still have the advantage of essentially the same package available for the long-wheelbase Yukon XL and Suburban.
The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer Overland Special Edition is available to order now in the U.S. starting at $77,835. Production is limited to 2,000 units, and it appears to be exclusive to the standard-wheelbase model.

LOL. I’m struggling to find an engine size in any of the literature (here or elsewhere). I’m guessing it’s their pathetic 6 cylinder? Hey Stellantis, if you have to hide it, it’s not a selling point. Put a V8 back in it and I’ll buy one. Put a Hellcat motor in it and you won’t be able to make enough of them.
Everywhere else is reporting the 3.0 6. 🤕 With Tim Kinunsis back, I’m surprised it doesn’t have a hellcat and 35″ tires. This is more of the Carlos traverses approach.
That straight 6 puts any V8 not supercharged or turbo charged to shame, far from pathetic. Shows how uneducated old you are…

Another extreme off road wagon or suv . 3 row luxury family school bus fully loaded with luxury bits and massive sun roof that most us off roader car campers don’t need or want or will ever use
