Among the changes and updates debuted by the electric pickup nameplate’s second model year, five new exterior colors for the 2025 GMC Sierra EV expand the aesthetic options available to purchasers from the single Thunderstorm Gray color offered for the 2024 model year.
The 2025 GMC Sierra EV gets two new free, no-charge paint choices, including the tint GM Authority is putting under the spotlight here, the Summit White color.
Officially designated by color code GAZ and touch-up paint code WA-8624, Summit White is numbered among the 2025 GMC Sierra EV’s six exterior paint colors, with the complete list of currently available hues shown here:
- Dark Ember Tintcoat (GAB – new for 2025)
- Deep Ocean Metallic (GAI – new for 2025)
- Moonlight Matte (GLG – new for 2025)
- Onyx Black (GBA – new for 2025)
- Summit White (GAZ – new for 2025)
- Thunderstorm Gray (GNO)
A no-charge exterior color option, Summit White can be ordered in conjunction with both of the interior colorways featured on the 2025 GMC Sierra EV.
Specifically, the two interior colorways currently included in the cockpit lineup of the 2025 Sierra EV are a black and a tan choice, namely the following:
- After Dark
- Desert Dune
Pricing is only available for the Denali trim level, which is the only trim offered at launch of the 2025 model year. The lower price for this trim is $91,995 when set up for Extended Range use, while the Max Range variant is $100,495, with a destination freight charge of $2,095 already included in both MSRP amounts. Also on the menu for the 2026 model year is the cross-country ready AT4 trim with Crabwalk, four-wheel steering, Terrain Mode, and the distinctive GM red tow hooks, along with Surround Vision for technical off-road maneuvering and two more inches of ground clearance. An entry-level Elevation trim is likewise planned.
When it comes to motivation, the Extended Range variant develops 645 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque while the Max Range version cranks out 760 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque. GM drive motors and GM batteries supply this propulsion.
The GM BT1 platform continues to underpin the Sierra EV. The machine rolls off the assembly line at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan with production upcoming at the GM Lake Orion plant, too.

What an ugly vehicle. It’s like they tried to just cover the entire front end with whatever styling cues would fit.
