Super Bowl champion Jerome Bettis is auctioning off his 2025 Chevy Corvette Z06 convertible at the Barrett-Jackson 2025 Palm Beach auction with no reserve. 100 percent of the hammer price will benefit The Jerome Bettis Bus Stops Here Foundation.
In addition to its celebrity ownership, this Z06 has VIN001, which means it was the first Corvette Z06 built for the 2025 model year. It’s in a desirable spec, as long as you like black and carbon fiber. It’s finished in Black (GBA) paint with a Jet Black (HTT) interior. Interior options include Competition bucket seats with perforated inserts (RPO AE4), the Stealth Interior trim package (BAZ), the Carbon Fiber Interior Package Level 2 (FQ2), and the Z07 Performance Package (Z07).
Exterior upgrades on this Corvette include the Visible Carbon Fiber Aero Package (CFZ), Visible Carbon Fiber 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels (Q9A), and black exhaust tips (E59) on the dual-mode performance exhaust system (NPP).
It comes together for a mean-looking mid-engined sports car full of premium luxury features. As a Z06 with the Z07 package, which brings upgrades to the suspension, brakes, aero, and tires, it delivers the goods on the street and the track, all with drop-top convertible fun.
The MSRP of this 2025 Corvette Z06 probably goes up to around $175,000, and that’s not factoring in its 001 VIN, ownership by an NFL Hall of Famer, and the fact that it’s being sold in a charity auction. We’d be surprised if this goes for under $200k when it crosses the auction block on Friday.
“The Jerome Bettis Bus Stops Here Foundation is working to provide education, sports, technology, and recreational opportunities to the underprivileged youth of the inner city,” says the Barrett-Jackson listing. “We aim to help them improve their quality of life through our mentoring and programs to become enlightened, healthy, skilled, and productive individuals.”

Makes my 2021 with MSRP of 60,995 seem like a deal. Z51, Mag Ride, Front Lift, out the door 76,811 no dealer upcharge in March 2021. Starting to love it all over again. Although I bear no grudge and envy anyone who can get into the newer ones, they are literally all fantastic. Such a dream. Maybe I will sell my house and get a ZR1, or a Zora!, and be homeless…. Living in campgrounds around America with my National Parks Pass !! Have a good day everyone. Be Happy.
CLASSY move by Bettis, much respect!
Didn’t know you could get the ZO7 package with the lower wing
