The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is officially arriving in the Middle East, after the electric crossover’s regional debut at the Kuwait Auto World Show last September.
General Motors has just officially introduced the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV in the Middle East, where the automaker has begun taking orders and launching Chevrolet’s zero-emission compact crossover. The 2025 Equinox EV is now available to order in key Southwest Asian markets, with deliveries to the region beginning gradually throughout May.
“As part of its bold vision to lead the charge towards a fully electric future, Chevrolet is proud to introduce the first-ever Equinox EV to the Middle East this summer,” said GM Middle East Communications Department. “This marks a significant step in Chevrolet’s EV strategy dedicated to creating electric vehicles that are for every purse, purpose and journey,” the company added.
As the company anticipated at the model’s regional debut, the all-new 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is arriving in the Middle East in a single configuration, the sporty RS trim level that combines bold design, cutting-edge technology, and a class-leading driving experience. The model stands out by offering the most comprehensive connectivity and driver assistance features in its class as standard.
Technically, the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV RS for the Middle East is equipped with a front-wheel drivetrain and a single front-mounted electric motor that produces 213 horsepower and 320 Nm or 236 pound-feet of torque. The powertrain is fed by an 85 kWh battery pack providing a range of up to 513 km or 319 miles on a full charge.
The all-new 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is now available to order in major Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, where starting prices have already been announced. The model is offered in those markets in a palette of four exterior colors and two interior combinations. For reference, the starting price of the Equinox EV RS in the UAE is AED 169,900, approximately $46,260 USD at the current exchange rate.
