The automaker’s Japanese subsidiary announced the official start of the exhibition tour of the all-new 2025 Cadillac Lyriq in major cities across the country throughout the remainder of April, a marketing initiative that seeks to bring the all-electric crossover closer to its target customers in Japan during the pre-sale period. The first deliveries of the 2025 Lyriq in the Japanese market are scheduled for mid-year.

“General Motors Japan will be holding the Cadillac Place ‘Meet Lyriq’ exhibition event at three country’s locations, offering an early look at the Cadillac Lyriq – Cadillac’s first electric vehicle,” said GM Japan in a statement. “This special event will be held in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, where visitors can see, touch and experience the appeal of the latest luxury EV,” the company added.

The all-new 2025 Cadillac Lyriq exhibition tour in Japan will take place as part of a special Cadillac Place “Meet Lyriq” event scheduled for three Japanese cities from Saturday, April 12th to Tuesday, April 29th. At least in the first phase, the initiative will operate in reverse, from two cities in the country’s interior to the capital.

To this end, the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq exhibition event kicked off in Nagoya, the country’s fourth-largest city, on April 12th and 13th, continuing in Osaka, the third-largest city, on April 19th and 20th, and concluding in Tokyo in a duplicate four-day format from April 26th to 29th. Each Cadillac Place “Meet Lyriq” location will feature a state-of-the-art set inspired by the brand’s new showrooms in iconic buildings across the cities.

The all-new 2025 Cadillac Lyriq is now available to order from Cadillac Japan dealers, with deliveries scheduled to begin after May, right at the start of summer. For the first time for a Cadillac vehicle in the country, all 2025 Lyriq models in Japan will be configured as standard in right-hand drive and will be equipped with a high-capacity 102 kWh (95.7 kWh usable) battery offering a range of 510 km (317 miles) on a single charge.

  1. Since GM can’t get anyone in the US to buy that POS, they are trying to find every sucker around the world but I’m sure it will be a flop there too.
