2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Gets New Deep Space Metallic Color: First Look

Four new paint colors are added to the palette of the  2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing as part of the comprehensive refresh of the luxury sedan model. These hues come alongside new selections of tech and an overhaul of both the vehicle’s exterior and interior.

Here, GM Authority is zooming in on the details of the new Deep Space Metallic paint color, a dark bluish-gray color that looks dark steel blue in sunlight and is enhanced with gold metallic flake.

The Deep Space Metallic paint is tagged with color code GAI and touch-up paint number WA-223K. The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing features 9 other paint colors also, with the full lineup consisting of these hues:

  • Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
  • Black Raven (GBA)
  • Coastal Blue Metallic (GJV)
  • Cyber Yellow Metallic (GCP)
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)

A non-tintcoat metallic paint option, Deep Space Metallic costs an additional $625 when chosen as the exterior paint for the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. It can be paired with all interior colorways with the exception of Sky Cool Gray with Phantom Blue accents and Jet Black with Phantom Blue accents, both exclusive to the CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre Special Edition (RPO code ZLZ).

As a reminder, the 2025 CT5-V Blackwing features a total of eight different combos of colors and materials for its interior colorways:

The 2025 CT5-V Blackwing carries a staring MSRP of $96,990 and offers several new packages and options as part of its mid-cycle refresh. Among these the new 2025 CT5-V Blackwing Precision Package is a standout offering, priced at $18,000 and including significant steering and suspension upgrades. Three wheel choices are on offer, while the currently-live online configurator can be used for builds and trying out options.

The model year also coincides with the 101st anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race and gets the aforementioned Le Monstre Special Edition as a result. Sporting the exclusive Magnus Metal Frost exterior paint, the Le Monstre also offers two special interior colorways along with appropriate decals and aesthetic details, and is limited to a production run of 101 vehicles. Under the hood the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing cradles the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine as its only powerplant choice. Rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque, the LT4 is mated to the GM six-speed manual transmission or optionally to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission.

The GM Alpha 2 platform continues to underpin the refreshed Blackwing. The GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan is the production site for the luxury performance sedan.
