The 2025 GMC Yukon debuts a mid-cycle refresh complete with a wide variety of changes, including updated styling, an upgraded interior, a new diesel engine, and enhanced tech. As expected, customers have a long list of options when it comes to customizing their new SUV’s wheels, but unfortunately, one 22-inch option has been unavailable to order. Now, however, the 22-inch wheel option in question is finally available once again.
The option in question is called the 22-inch Black wheels with selective machining, and is tagged with RPO code SRL. Pricing for this optional wheel set is listed at $3,295 for all four, while the wheels are wrapped in 275/50R22SL tires. The SRL wheels are offered for both the 2025 GMC Yukon and the extended-length 2025 GMC Yukon XL, and are available exclusively for the Elevation and Denali trim levels.
Since they are classified as an LPO-level option, the SRL wheels are installed at the dealership, rather than at the factory. When a 2025 GMC Yukon is ordered with this option, the SUV is shipped on temporary 22-inch steel transit wheels, which are later replaced with the new Black wheels upon delivery. Afterwards, the transit wheels are sent back to the factory.
While the 22-inch Black wheels with selective machining are once again available to order, two other wheel options remain unavailable for the 2025 GMC Yukon:
- 22-inch multi-split spoke Chrome wheels (RPO code SSW)
- 24-inch Black wheels (RPO code 5FG)
As for what’s under the hood, the 2025 GMC Yukon is offered with three different powertrain options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, rated at 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque; and the new-for 2025 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax, rated at 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. All 2025 Yukon variants ride on the GM T1 platform. Like the rest of the GM full-size SUV lineup, 2025 Yukon production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
