GM has issued a new Service Update for the 2025 Buick Enclave for certain units of the crossover that are affected by an issue with the lighting control module.
The Service Update – number N242485170 – says that the problem is that the lighting control module connector in affected 2025 Buick Enclave units may have its terminating resistor missing.
Dealership service personnel are instructed to apply the fix to any involved 2025 Buick Enclave unit that is currently in dealer inventory, or to customer vehicles brought to the dealership for any reason. The remedy consists of reworking the lighting control module connector.
The fix requires a part, which is in limited supply so it should not be ordered until the dealership has confirmed that a 2025 Enclave is in fact affected by the issue. Electrical tape will also be needed to complete the fix. This remedy is available free of charge to current owners through the end of the crossover’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty period. The number of Enclave units affected is unclear at this time.
GM pulled the sheets on the 2025 Buick Enclave in April 2024, launching the all-new third generation of the Tri-Shield brand’s full-size crossover. The vehicle includes fresh exterior styling, a new interior, a new engine choice, bigger dimensions and an assortment of new tech and safety features.
The crossover has proved to be popular and one of the brand’s fastest-turning models on dealer lots. Pricing, as initially revealed first by GM Authority, starts at $46,395 for the FWD configuration of the entry-level Preferred trim level, which costs $48,395 with AWD. At the top end, the Avenir trim starts at $59,395 with front-wheel and $61,395 with all-wheel drive.
All trim levels of the Enclave cradle the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine under the hood. This powerplant provides 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque and is mated to the GM eight-speed automatic transmission. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations are available.
The 2025 Enclave rides on the same GM C1 platform used for the second generation. Production of the crossover takes place at the GM Lansing Township plant in Michigan.

Every single one also needs a recall to be redesigned. so…blagh
Our 2024 Trax was the first year of the 2nd generation and it needed the Ambient Light Sensor replaced within 100 miles. At least it was covered under warranty.
