Lane-Cutting Chevy Cruze Driver Gets Instant Karma: Video

Sometimes, the timing of everything just sort of works out. Maybe the stars align or maybe it’s just random, but whatever the case may be, it can definitely be satisfying. Now, we’re getting to watch exactly that with the following viral video, which captures a Chevy Cruze driver receiving instant karma after attempting an aggressive lane cut.

The footage was recorded by a dash cam, providing us with a short, yet impactful clip.

The incident takes place at a busy multi-lane intersection in an urban setting. Traffic is seen building up at a red light, with vehicles waiting in a series of designated lanes, including two left-turn lanes. The vehicle with the dash camera is seen in one of the through lanes.

Suddenly, we see a Chevy Cruze enter the frame from the left side. The driver, seemingly impatient, decides to cut across from a turning lane into the adjacent lane, attempting to squeeze into the line of traffic.

Unfortunately for the Cruze driver, their maneuver is poorly executed. As they dart into the lane, the driver with the dash cam lays into the horn, but the front end of both vehicles end up colliding. While the impact is minor, it is enough to elicit an exclamation from the driver with the dash cam.

Just moments after the Cruze stops, a police cruiser appears on the scene. The officer, seemingly in the right place at the right time, pulls up directly behind the Cruze. Realizing the situation, the driver steps out to address the officer, but at this point, the outcome seems inevitable.

The video ends with the police officer talking to the driver in the Chevy Cruze, and while it’s unclear exactly what sort of consequences the Cruze driver faced, the driver with the dash cam seems to be relieved by the outcome.
