The 2025 Cadillac Optiq debuts this year as the compact luxury SUV offering in GM’s luxury brand’s expanding EV lineup. Its standard dual-motor powertrain, 302-mile maximum range rating, and high-tech interior make it a compelling choice in its class. It’s also Cadillac’s most affordable EV, but, as luxury vehicles do, it can get pretty pricey when fully loaded.
Let’s determine the cost of the most expensive 2025 Cadillac Optiq money can buy.

The expensive options you can add to the 2025 Cadillac Optiq Sport 2 are primarily aesthetic and electrical. The Onyx Package (LPO PDB) adds $3,995 to the price by adding 21-inch gloss black wheels (LPO VSP) with black center caps, Vader chrome mirror caps, and puddle lamps.
The priciest premium paint options for the Optiq are Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT) and Crystal White Tricoat (G1W), which cost $1,225 each. A black contrast roof (41T) costs an extra $600. On the inside, a $1,100 upgrade is available with Inteluxe seats with perforated inserts and embroidered embellishments available in Autumn Canyon (EFP) or Phantom Blue (EFG). These interior packages include deluxe carpeted front floor mats (B53) and deluxe carpeted rear floor mats (B9I), as well as PaperWood decor.
The optional 19.2 kW capable onboard charging module (RPO K2O) costs $1,580, and the GM Energy PowerShift Charger (LPO 5AV) costs $1,699. Add in some more LPO options like the Floor Liner Package (LPO PDF), collapsible cargo organizer (LPO RWU), and cargo net (LPO W2D), and the total cost of a fully loaded 2025 Cadillac Optiq, including the destination charge, comes to $70,092. That’s a little higher than the starting prices of the Luxury 3 and Sport 3 trims of the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq but lower than the base price of the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq.
Is the 2025 Cadillac Optiq still a good buy in electric luxury SUVs when it crosses the $70k mark, or does it make more sense on the lower end of its pricing spectrum?

Hysterical that you think we care.
Are the dampers Passive Plus or CDC? Or are those the same thing?
I think it depends on how much time you spend in your car. If you are just using it for short trips, as basic transportation, it only makes sense at the lower end of cost. If you are traveling in it and its the main family vehicle, then the higher end models would be worth it. Also, depends on what you can afford. I think overall, the optic is a good value.
I wish I can buy it now before the tariffs apply. I can pay that amount as I have a FCU which gives me an auto loan with a 1.79% interest.
So stop wishing and go do it, then tell everyone how it is.
I’m glad the cost is in range for the average working Joe to afford one ..YEA RIGHT
I virtually just purchased my first Cadillac on Monday, 3/31. My Optiq is a Radiant Red Sport 1 with a few other options. I traded in my Chevy Equinox EV 2LT, $17,165 & the gm incentives & the $7,500 EV credit, OTD.
If your wondering about the Equinox EV, I purchased it last year by trading in my 2023 Bolt (which I received free from gm in exchange for the Bolt battery fiasco), $15,000, and the same incentives and EV credit.
Essentially I bought my Optiq for a 2019 Chevy Bolt, $31,165, and the free incentives. It is my opinion that the Equinox is a fantastic bargain and I bought the Optiq for my vanity, big-head purposes only: Don’t tell my wife that I really didn’t need to upscale.
Still, it is really a nice car.
Oh yeah, depending on what tRump does with the tariffs today I suggest going shopping for a new car during the last week of a quarter (March, June, September, and the golden buy a car period, – the last week in December). Remind the dealers it is the end of the quarter and that they will be paying interest on the car for the month if they don’t give you a better discount.
