Here’s How Much The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre Edition Costs

The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is one of the last ICE-based GM sedans available in the U.S. market, offering a blend of luxury, style, and neck-snapping performance. For enthusiasts seeking even more exclusivity, Cadillac also offers the Le Monstre Edition package, which adds a selection of aesthetic upgrades as a tribute to the brand’s racing history in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, pricing for the Le Monstre Edition package isn’t exactly cheap.

The 2025 CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre Edition is tagged with RPO code ZLZ and adds a whopping $32,500 to the base MSRP of the CT5-V Blackwing.

While quite expensive, the package is also quite exclusive. Limited to just 101 units, the Le Monstre Edition commemorates the 101st anniversary of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race, taking its name from Cadillac’s 1950 race entrant, nicknamed “Le Monstre.” The original race car was a re-bodied Cadillac Series 61 Coupe with upgraded aerodynamics and 331 cubic-inch V8 with five carburetors, delivering 160 horsepower and a top speed of 130 mph. Despite an early off-track mishap, the vehicle recovered from 35th to finish 11th.

  • Santorini seat belts (37V)

The package also offers two exclusive interior configurations, namely Sky Cool Gray with Phantom Blue accents (RPO code EG1), and Jet Black with Phantom Blue accents (RPO code E54).

Under the hood, the CT5-V Blackwing is powered by the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. Like all other CT5 variants, the CT5-V Blackwing rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform and is assembled at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

  1. An extra $32k for geegaws and decals and paint? That’s new Camry money. In ten years or so, all GM’s, Corvette excepted, will end up in a Walmart Parking lot with 4 kids in the car and an opiate addicted mother screaming at one of three baby daddies to bring her diaper money.

  2. OK @MattGates stop paying teen girls for s3x — first of all.
Second of all, I’m pretty sure THIS product won’t end up in a Walmart lot.
It will probably end up being meticulously cared for by owner #1, owner #2 or owner #3.
I will agree that $32K is quite a bit of cheddar but they do make the vehicle pop.

  3. $32K for a few appearance updates and no performance upgrades? I’ll pass and I’m sure a lot of other people will be doing the same my #1 question has never changed still after all these years “Who’s doing the
    thinking at GM” ?

    1. Yup. Remember the Gone in 60 Seconds movie with. Nicholas Cage? One of the vehicles they swipe is a late ‘90s or very early 00 Escalade. Back then that vehicle was 3x my income. Today, it is a beater or junker worth nothing except to a house painter who needs a vehicle that he doesn’t care much about if paint spills or splashes all over. Or it’s belching blue smoke down the interstate with worn unmatched tires. Cautionary tale here.

  4. CADILLAC “GM” SPECIAL LE MONSTRE
    EDITION! $32 GRAND PLUS!
WHY?? WE THE PUBLIC CAN’T COMPREHEND. I/WE, I’M NOT ALONE. CADILLAC SHOULD BE ABLE (GM) OR WILLING TO SHOW THE WORLD (“STANDARDS OF THE WORLD “). ARE YOU REALLY TRYING TO LIVE UP TO THAT LABEL? SELF IMPOSED BUT THERE WAS FEW IF ANY AT ALL HAD A CASE TO SAY THAT TITLE BELONGS TO ANOTHER!! THE ONLY WAY I COULD UNDERSTAND CADDY/GM NOT UP GRADING THE “VBW” WITH MORE UNDER THE HOOD WITH THIS SPECIAL EDITION. CADILLAC/GM WANT THE 2025 VERSION SALES HAPPEN. THEN FOR 2026. CADILLAC SURPRISE THE CAR WORLD. I CAN SEE THIS AS A POSSIBILITY. JUST THINK, THERE HAS BEEN A FEW YEARS (3) WITH THE SAME CONFIGURATION I BELIEVE. THAT’S ENOUGH TIME!! It doesn’t hurt to hope/predict the future!

  6. That package includes the CC Brakes and the Precision Package. As usual, GM Authority is an authority on nothing.

  7. Thank you @Tom. That explains the price hike. The 32k doesn’t seem all that expensive now. Precision package and the carbon fiber alone make sense for 32k. Guys your buying 1 of 101. Exclusivity is also the reason for the price.

  8. Like all Cadillac’s, as soon as you drive it off the lot, you will lose $30-40k so as long as you have the money to waste…

  9. With an interior that looks as good as a car half the price or less, 32K extra and you still have your choice of black carpet OR, black carpet 🙁
