General Motors is expanding the all-electric GMC Sierra EV lineup with the launch of two new trim levels in conjunction with the 2026 model year, namely the new 2026 GMC Sierra EV Elevation and the new 2026 GMC Sierra EV AT4. The two new trims slot in below the GMC Sierra EV Denali, with the Elevation serving as the entry-level offering, and the AT4 serving as the off-roader of the lineup. Although both trims were originally expected for the 2025 model year, the new GMC Sierra EV Elevation and AT4 will instead launch for the 2026 model year, as GM Authority was the first to report.
Each trim level in the 2026 Sierra EV lineup will offer multiple battery options, with the Elevation available in Standard Range and Extended Range configurations, AT4 available in Extended Range and Max Range configurations, and Denali available in Standard Range, Extended Range, and Max Range configurations. Specific range-per-charge estimates will be announced at a later date.
As for trim-specific equipment, the new 2026 Sierra EV AT4 will feature two inches of additional ground clearance, standard four-wheel steering (with CrabWalk), 35-inch all-terrain tires, and a trim-exclusive Terrain Mode. Inside, there’s an AT4-exclusive Forest Storm colorway, as well as standard GM Super Cruise. DC fast charging up to 350kW is optional, providing an estimated 100 miles of range in 10 minutes. Towing is rated at a maximum of 12,300 pounds.
Meanwhile, the 2026 Sierra EV Elevation features a 16.8-inch diagonal center touchscreen, power-operated eTrunk hood, the MultiPro tailgate (available MultiPro MidGate), an After Dark interior colorway, and 18-inch machine face wheels with gloss black pockets. DC fast charging up to 300kW is optional, as is Super Cruise.
Finally, the 2026 GMC Sierra EV Denali offers two unique interiors, heated and ventilated seats, and Super Cruise, while four-wheel steering, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, and a Panoramic fixed sunroof are optional.

The worktruck version of the Chevy EV is all over the place where I live. Including my employer.
I got the Denali and absolutely love it!
How many mi/kWh does it get? I’m wondering if they are trying to figure out how to shoehorn more batteries in there to get the range similar to the standard models.
The gauge screen in front of the driver looks absolutely terrible. The tacked-on screen fad needs to be over.
They’re so beautiful
No diesel?
This article was about the EVs. I am sure if you scroll a bit, you will find an article about diesel Sierras.
