Typically, when the snow hits the ground, the sports cars are shuffled into the garage. However, that’s not necessarily the case for the new Corvette E-Ray. Offered as the very-first production Corvette equipped from the factory with all-wheel drive, the new E-Ray isn’t afraid of a low-grip situation. Now, we’re watching as one E-Ray driver enjoys a snow day with some all-wheel donuts and drifts.
Captured at the NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the video clip is brief, but looks like a ton of fun.
The video opens with a shot of the NCM track blanketed by snow. We see the white stuff falling heavy, covering the park completely. Before long, we get a shot of a snow-covered expanse of wide open tarmac – the perfect playground for a new Corvette E-Ray.
As the video progresses, we see a yellow E-Ray covered in race-style stickers gracefully sliding around the skid pad, rear end swinging back and forth as the driver executes drifts and donuts on the slick surface. The E-Ray handles it all flawlessly, moving laterally in broad arcs as the pilot behind the wheel feathers the throttle, all while wisps of white powder follow in its wake.
It looks like a ton of fun.
“How do I get an invite to come do donuts?” asks one eager commenter.
“Wish I could have joined in with my ride,” comments another.

For those that may be unaware, the NCM Motorsports Park is tied to the National Corvette Museum, both of which are located just down the road from the GM Bowling Green assembly facility – the exclusive production facility for the Corvette nameplate since 1981. The NCM Motorsports Park offers enthusiasts a chance to participate in a variety of high-speed activities, such as track days, performance driving classes, karting, and other events.
As for the Corvette E-Ray, specs include the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, which is paired with a front-mounted electric motor to produce a combined 655 horsepower.
