Cadillac Racing will return to the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2025, this time with a team of four Cadillac V-Series.R race cars ready to roll.
Automobile Club de l’Ouest extended the invitations to the luxury marque, which previously fielded just three Hypercar class race cars in 2023 and 2024. The entries will be split between a world-class roster of drivers, including racers who have claimed class wins in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, plus overall titles in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
The Cadillac Racing lineup includes the No. 38 and the No. 12 V-Series.R race cars fielded by Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, which received invitations based on their fulltime competition in the WEC. These entries will be shared between Jenson Button, Earl Bamber, Sebastien Bourdais, Alex Lynn, Norman Nato and Will Stevens. Wayne Taylor Racing will support the No. 101 V-Series.R, which will compete at Le Mans for the first time in a few months. Ricky Taylor has been named as the primary driver, with the rest of the roster to be announced later on.
Finally, Action Express Racing will field the No. 311 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R, which is a full-season entry competing in IMSA. Jack Aitken has been confirmed as primary driver, while codrivers have yet to be announced.
“We’re thrilled to have Cadillac Racing return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans with four cars competing for the overall win in the Hypercar class,” said John Roth, vice president, global Cadillac. “After scoring our first podium finish at this iconic endurance race in 2023 and securing a top 10 finish last year, we look to build on that success and showcase the Cadillac V-Series.R’s technology, performance, and innovation with our 2025 entries.”
As a reminder, the Cadillac V-Series.R marked the luxury marque’s reentry into the famous endurance race after a nearly 20-year hiatus. In 2023, Cadillac Racing finished third and fourth, while boasting a best finish of seventh in the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 2025 running of the event is scheduled for June 14th and 15th.

I sure hope their all at the top at the end of 24 hrs. We don’t need them to take each other out of the race. GOOD LUCK TEAM CADILLAC
I will second that Jimbo! I’m always rooting for the Caddies! If they remain in the field at the finish they could definitely be on the podium. I hope you do well!
I would love to see Cadillac win. Finishing the race is paramount. I all the entries finished and finished respectively I would be very happy. The competition is probably more intense now than ever with the number of entries and brands. I hate it when one brand tries to stall another in the race. Good hard respectful racing makes for the best result. I know some watchers enjoy the vehicle fights and crashes but that is against the intent of the sport.
