The GM Authority Take
Buick Envision sales during Q4 2024 posted very healthy gains to keep it in second place, while sales increased seven percent for the 2024 calendar year, indicating that interest in the refreshed model remains strong.
Meanwhile, Cadillac XT4 sales were as healthy as those of the Envision, and combined sales of the two put GM within striking distance of the perennially best-selling Lexus NX.
This is in spite of the two small crossovers facing strong competition from the likes of Acura, Audi, BMW, Lexus, crosstown rival Lincoln, and Mercedes-Benz.
Looking ahead, the Envision sales will likely be negative impact from incresed prices as a result of the Trump admin’s tariff on China, with the Buick being the only vehicle made in that country sold by GM in the United States. Meanwhile, the Cadillac XT4 is in its final model year, as production has come to an end.

Comments
The Envision is arguably the best model in Buick’s current lineup. It exudes everything Buick should stand for. Stunning design and premium interior. The new Enclave misses the mark. And the Encore GX and Envista – both under powdered with less than premium interiors.
Won’t be for long one the tariffs kick in.
Just more reason they SHOULD be built in the USA!!
It’s not cost effective to move an entire line of production for 50,000 units in a good year when they sell over 150,000 units a year in China.
The Envision is honestly one of GM’s hidden gems. Stunning design, premium features, fun to drive, and all starting under $40k. No wonder sales have been up year over year.
Keeping Chinese auto workers busy and employed. I dare say most US buyers don’t know it’s 100% built in communist China or even care.
they don’t care because they’re not 65 years old.
Just curious…you do realize the device you typed your comment on probably originated from China right? Certainly not the USA
Envision has always an interesting vehicle in its segment, but I’ll never buy a Chuick. I’d be tempted if it was manufactured in Mexico, but China is a hard pass.
