Relationships can be tough sometimes, and occasionally, tensions can boil over. It happens to the best of them, but the results aren’t always predictable. Now, a recent viral video making the rounds on social media captures a bizarre moment involving a Buick Enclave and what’s presumed to be a couple caught in a heated dispute, culminating in a phone being thrown out the window and the passenger climbing out to retrieve it.
The footage, recorded from the dash cam of a vehicle positioned behind the Buick Enclave, is timestamped March 13th, 2025, around 4:12 p.m. local time. The scene unfolds on a snow-covered freeway where three lanes of traffic are moving slowly due to winter weather conditions. Snow continues to fall, and the lanes are barely visible, though vehicles are still making steady progress. Trees lining both sides of the freeway suggest the incident occurred in a mountainous region.
Suddenly, an object flies out of the Buick Enclave’s window – presumably a smartphone. Moments later, a man pokes his head out of the window, and, in an unexpected move, crawls out of the moving Buick’s window, mimicking a reverse Dukes of Hazzard-style exit as he attempts to retrieve the lost device.
Despite the strange maneuver, there doesn’t appear to be any immediate danger, as traffic is moving slowly due to the snow. However, the unexpected sight leaves the dash cam passengers in shock, with one audibly asking, “What was that?”
While the full context remains unclear, the original video poster later added in the comments section that the woman behind the wheel of the Enclave appeared very upset when seen minutes later. Though her exact relationship to the man remains uncertain, it’s widely assumed that it was a couple’s argument that led to the phone’s abrupt ejection from the vehicle, and, subsequently, the man’s dramatic effort to recover it.

Thr world is so out of touch. People car more about phones, then having a wonderful conversation with each other. I can’t tell you how many times I drive down the interstate and see family vehicles with a person driving the passenger just “mind controlled” on their phone. I am so glad I grew up when I did and my father made me go outside play, get dirty, build up ANTIBODIES, and learn how to speak to people with yes sir, mam, and please/thank you!
I think the conversation wasn’t going wonderfully
I like how she drove off and left him behind. I’d say that relationship is kaput.
That guy will be looking for someone else to drive his arse around in their mother’s Buick and keep them warm at night.
You knew before you zoomed in, didn’t you ?
The great American road belongs to Buick.
did he even open the door to get out? Looks like he exited out the window.
