Arkansas State Police Take Out Fleeing Chevy Silverado In High-Speed Chase: Video

A video recently posted to social media captures a high-speed chase between a driver in a stolen Chevy Silverado pickup and Arkansas State Police, ending in dramatic fashion after law enforcement successfully executed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) maneuver at more than 100 mph.

The incident unfolded on the night of February 1st, 2025, after law enforcement in Little River County attempted to stop a suspect speeding at 80 mph in a 40 mph zone. The suspect was seen behind the wheel of a red 2006 Chevy Silverado, with multiple police agencies joining in the pursuit.

The chase was capture by the dash cam of one of the pursuing officers, and throughout the nearly 10 minutes of footage, law enforcement are seen attempting a TVI (also known as a PIT maneuver) on multiple occasions, although the suspect repeatedly evades them.

Finally, around the five-minute, 28-second mark, we see a successful TVI executed at 102 mph, causing the Silverado to spin out, crash into a median cable barrier, and come to a stop back on the highway. However, the chase didn’t end there. As police attempted to block the Silverado, the suspect is seen exiting the pickup and running, crossing the adjacent lanes on foot. Officers pursue the suspect through an embankment and a wet ditch before finally taking him into custody.

Officers later confirmed that the Silverado had been stolen, but it had not yet been reported. The suspect now faces a series of charges across multiple jurisdictions, including:

  • Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle
  • Evading Arrest on Foot
  • Fleeing in a Vehicle Exceeding the Speed Limit
  • Theft of Property ($5,000-$25,000, Little River County charge)

Meanwhile, the patrol unit that captured the dash video sustained minor damage, including a dent on the front left quarter panel and damage to the brush guard while executing the maneuver. Luckily, the chase did not result in any serious injuries.

  1. So the police are willing to accidentally kill somebody driving home from work in order to recover a sh*tbox worth $500? And they didn’t even recover it, they totaled it! Overzealous at best, retarded at worst. I feel like the AHP made their point about running and it’s not getting across. There are several great tools for stopping police chases without all the theatrics, destruction and risk to everyone else, maybe it’s time to try those now instead of YouTube?

    1. Just make it legal to intentionally shoot through the back of the driver’s side of the rear window if someone speeds up when the lights come on. There’d be a ton less high speed chases.
