Introducing the third model year following the nameplate’s 2024 refresh, the 2026 Chevy Trailblazer debuts just a handful of changes. However, as GM Authority previously pointed out, all trim levels of the 2026 Trailblazer are $100 cheaper than the previous model year.
Currently, the reason for this slight drop in price has become apparent – the 2026Â Chevy Trailblazer will omit the standard spare wheel and tire (RPO code ZDC).
The spare wheel and tire for the Trailblazer previously came with a mechanical jack and tools, all equipped as standard for all four trims. Now, this content has been removed from the standard feature list and instead each vehicle will come from the factory with a tire inflator kit (RPO code KTI) as a replacement for this feature.
However, buyers can still choose the same 16-inch compact spare tire as a factory-installed standalone option, which comes with a mechanical jack and tools for $195.
Pricing for the 2026 Trailblazer, as initially uncovered by GM Authority, starts at a base MSRP of $24,295 for the LT trim configured with front-wheel drive and ranges up to $30,495 for the all-wheel drive variant of the range-topping Activ trim level. The crossover gets two new paint colors for 2026 also, specifically White Sands (color code G42) and Apex Red (color code GAS). Dropped from the lineup are Nitro Yellow Metallic (GHS) and Crimson Metallic (GFM).
Powertrains for the 2026 Chevy Trailblazer include the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine, producing 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque and featuring E85 compatibility. Optionally available is the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T engine developing 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque but without flex-fuel E85 capability.
The 2026 Chevy Trailblazer continues to be underpinned by the GM VSS-F platform. Production is scheduled to begin on April 1st, 2025, with that production taking place, as usual, at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

Playing El Cheapo again eh gm?
I had been driving Cadillacs for so many years, which are lovely beige interior now in the last four years I’ve switched over to a Buick envision avenir which also has a lighter interior. I have no idea why you general motors would change the interior of the cars to dark, black, black and red, etc.. I only want a light interior like on the Cadillac ST4 which I understand will no longer b in production. My husband will be picking up a new GMC Acadia at4 tomorrow as he’s been driving this type of vehicle since we’ve been married otherwise to be honest I think I would look at Ford . But being a gm retiree salary worker for 37 years. I just can’t do it.
