2026 Chevy Equinox Configurator Live

The 2026 Chevy Equinox debuts the second model year for the latest fourth-generation crossover, bringing with it relatively minimal changes compared to the all-new 2025 model. Among the changes are new exterior paint options, as well as a few small changes to the trim level and package content. Now, customers can spec the 2026 Equinox using the official configurator tool available at Chevrolet’s website.

As was the case for the 2025 model year, the 2026 Chevy Equinox is available in three distinct trims: LT, Activ, and RS. Pricing begins at $29,995 for the LT trim, while the Activ and RS trims start at $34,395. All trims are equipped as standard with front-wheel drive. Opting for all-wheel drive increases pricing to $31,995 for the LT and $36,395 for the Activ and RS.

As expected, a selection of packages and options is on offer to customize the crossover further. These include the Convenience Package II (RPO code ZQ3), which is only available for the LT trim and priced at $2,050, throwing in an eight-way power driver seat, Rainsense front wipers, dual-zone automatic climate control, and wireless device charging.

Chevrolet also offers a panoramic sunroof (RPO code CAJ), priced at $1,645 for the LT and $1,495 for both Activ and RS trims. Aesthetic upgrades include the Midnight Edition (RPO code WN5), which incudes a blackout treatment with dark badging, a Black grille and mesh, and Black-painted 19-inch wheels. The Midnight Edition is only available for the LT trim and is priced at $1,045 when ordered without the sunroof. Pricing drops to $895 when ordered with the sunroof.

Meanwhile, Activ and RS trims offer the Convenience Package III (RPO code ZL4), which is priced at $950 and adds amenities like a power-adjustable front passenger seat, ventilated front seats, and heated outboard rear seats.

Under the hood, the 2026 Equinox is powered by the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, which is rated at 175 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque in front-wheel-drive configurations, pairing with a CVT. All-wheel-drive models are equipped with the GM eight-speed automatic transmission, while engine torque is boosted to 203 pound-feet.

Production of the 2026 Chevy Equinox is underway now, kicking off on March 17th 2025, at the GM San Luis Potosí plant in Mexico.

  1. Wait 18 months. I can just imagine the discounts that will be flying by then. Early ’26s. That’s IF the tariff situation either doesn’t happen or goes away…

  2. Ford advertising that their Maverick & Bronco Sport can be had under $30k on TV ads. Of course, gm has nothing to compete with either of these two vehicles. GM cares about nothing but full size SUV and pickup cash cows. Market share means little or entry level vehicles that might lead to customer loyalty for future purchases upscale. Only exception is the South Korean built Trax.

    1. Um, it is a competitor for the bronco sport. The maverick, yeah, I think there is opportunity there for GM to compete in that market.

  3. Too small of engine to compete against the maverick .

  4. The Equinox would compete against the Ford Escape with domestic competitors.

  5. Tariff on/ Tariff off. Checked out Equinox at dealer yesterday. It’s a winner compared to the other cheap crap they sell.
