2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V Officially Introduced In China

During a special event dedicated to Cadillac’s high-performance V-Series lineup, General Motors has just officially unveiled the all-new 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V in China.

The automaker’s subsidiary in China unveiled the all-new 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V at the latest edition of the special “Cadillac Vday” high-performance show that the luxury brand organizes every year in the Asian country, where the V-Series cars are exhibited. At the event, held at the Zhejiang International Circuit, Cadillac confirmed that it will launch the new 2026 Lyriq-V in the Chinese market during the 2025 calendar year.

“The all-new Cadillac Lyriq-V will join the Optiq and Lyriq in Cadillac’s domestic EV lineup, setting new benchmarks for luxury performance in the rapidly evolving EV landscape in China,” said Cadillac’s China subsidiary. “Lyriq-V marks a bold expansion of the V-Series into the all-electric era, blending exhilarating performance with cutting-edge technology,” the brand added.

Notably, the all-new 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V becomes the brand’s first V-Series vehicle introduced in China that will actually be sold in the country. In fact, the official announcement suggests that the performance-focused Lyriq will also be manufactured locally in China – most likely at the SAIC-GM Cadillac Jinqiao plant in Shanghai alongside regualr Lyriq units and the new Cadillac Optiq.

As GM Authority exclusively reported in late January, the official announcement of the Cadillac Lyriq-V in China confirms that the high-performance electric crossover will be sold worldwide. As such, the 2026 Lyriq-V will not only be recognized as the V-Series EV-era pioneer and the fastest Cadillac in history to date, but also as the brand’s first truly global performance vehicle.

The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V was officially unveiled at the 2025 Cadillac Vday performance show in China, as the next addition to the brand’s vehicle lineup in the country with the world’s largest automotive market and highest volume of electric vehicles. The dual-motor Lyriq-V develops 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, making the Lyriq-V the fastest Cadillac ever produced.
