2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL Pricing For All Trim Levels Announced

General Motors unveiled the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL earlier this month, showing off an extended-body variant of the all-electric Escalade IQ. In addition to more room for passengers and cargo, the Escalade IQL offers a range of different trim levels for customers to choose from. Now, General Motors has announced official pricing information for all four 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL trims.

The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL trim level lineup kicks off with the Luxury, which starts at $132,695. The Sport is next at $133,195, followed by Premium Luxury at $152,995. At the top of the lineup is the Premium Sport, priced at $153,495.

Note that all prices listed here include a destination freight charge of $2,290.

Each trim is equipped with a dual-motor powertrain juiced by a 24-module, 205 kWh battery pack. Output is rated at 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque with the Velocity Max mode engaged, with the run to 60 mph clocked at 4.7 seconds. Range-per-charge is estimated at 460 miles.

Feature highlights for the base-level Luxury and Sport trims include a curved 55-inch pillar-to-pillar infotainment screen, the GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system, a 21-speaker AKG stereo, Air Ride Adaptive suspension with Magnetic Ride Control, 22-inch 10-spoke wheels, an 11.5 kW charger, and four-wheel steering. The Premium Luxury and Premium Sport step it up with a 38-speaker AKG stereo, Night Vision thermal imaging, 16-way power front seats, 24-inch seven-spoke wheels, and a 19.2 kW charger.

As covered previously, the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL is currently GM’s longest SUV ever, measuring in at 228.5 inches from end to end. By comparison, the standard Escalade IQ is 224.3 inches long. Both model variants have identical wheelbase lengths, measuring in at 136.2 inches.

The extra overall length in the Escalade IQL provides more room inside the cabin, in particular for second- and third-row passengers. The biggest gain is in third-row legroom which expands by 4.4 inches compared to the standard Escalade IQ. Cargo volume increased as well, up 6.3 cubic-feet behind the second row compared to the standard Escalade IQ.

All Escalade IQL and IQ models ride on the GM BT1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Detroit.

  1. With Trump admitting yesterday that a recession is probably imminent (some of us saw this coming a year ago), at $155K, Cadillac should be able to move 5 or less of those a year. Worthwhile corporate investment, again. NOT. How stupid.

    1. So you’re admitting the recession that you saw last year, with all of your vastly-expansive economics background, started under the Biden admin? This might be the first time I’ve ever seen you post something accurate. Regardless, there were roughly 23Million Americans with a net worth of over $1M at the end of 2023. Vehicles in this price range will continue to sell, recession or not.

  4. It’s interesting that GM took the track of making their EVs extremely large and very expensive. My view of EVs is that they’re disposable transportation with a lifespan only as long as the batteries last. All the small cheap Chinese EVs is how I envision the EV market developing with larger vehicles and more prestigious offerings continuing to be ICE.

    I personally wouldn’t pay $150k + for an electric car that automatically becomes worthless when its batteries reach their “service” state. Cadillacs have historically had a longer service life than other GM products due to their price and buyer demographics so it’ll be interesting to see how well these new EV Cadillacs perform; will they all be gone in 25 years like a Honda Civic. Or will they still be around like classic Cadillacs of the past.

  5. Every EV is a “parts car” for another EV.
    Nothing worth collecting or “enshrining” for future generations. “Heritage” is being drawn from, not built-up.

  6. Rumored to be around 9,000 lbs. Apparently GM is not providing too much information on gross vehicle weight. Wouldn’t want to test the strength of most guardrails in this thing. Collisions with smaller, lighter vehicles could get ugly.

    1. I’m actually involved in a state infrastructure project wherein we are actually replacing concrete median barrier with thicker (think x3 the size) concrete barrier because of the advent of the heavier vehicles were expected to see (EVs, more SUVs and trucks)
