2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ Gets A Bunch Of New Paint Colors

Cadillac launched the all-new Escalade IQ for the 2025 model year, offering an all-electric alternative to its flagship SUV. As expected, the Escalade IQ combines Cadillac’s signature luxury and style with a cutting-edge EV powertrain technology, plus a broad selection of options on hand for customization. Now, the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ is set to launch with a revised list of paint colors.

The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ will offer several new exterior paint options.

For the 2025 model year, the Escalade IQ was available with six different exterior paint color options, as well as a Black-painted roof for five of those options. Now, for 2026, the exterior paint palette expands to nine options, with several new paint choices added, and a few others deleted.

The new paint colors for 2026 include (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

  • Adobe Frost (GNR)
  • Luna Metallic (GNO)
  • Magnus Metal Frost (GBL)
  • Monarch Orange (GAG)
  • Sandstone (G42)
  • Vibrant White Tricoat (G4J)

Meanwhile, the deleted paint options from 2025 include:

  • Flare Metallic (GSJ)
  • Midnight Steel Frost (GLG)
  • Summit White (GAZ)

With the new colors added and the deleted colors removed, the full 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ paint color list is as follows:

  • Adobe Frost (GNR)
  • Black Cherry Tintcoat (GAB)
  • Black Raven (GBA)
  • Deep Space Metallic (GAI)
  • Luna Metallic (GNO)
  • Magnus Metal Frost (GBL)
  • Monarch Orange (GAG)
  • Sandstone (G42)
  • Vibrant White Tricoat (G4J)

To note, a Black-painted roof is once again available in conjunction with each color option, with the exception of Black Raven.

Interestingly, while Monarch Orange will be available for the 2026 Escalade IQ, it will not be available for the extended-length Escalade IQL.

Other notable updates include a revised trim level lineup. While the 2026 Escalade IQ will once again offer a total of four trims, they will be renamed to:

  • Luxury
  • Sport
  • Premium Luxury
  • Premium Sport

Despite the name change, the trim level structure will remain essentially the same, with the Luxury 2 renamed as Premium Luxury, and Sport 2 renamed as Premium Sport.

As GM Authority exclusively covered before, the start of regular production (SORP) for the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ is currently scheduled for May 5th, 2025. Production will once again take place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan. Cadillac may also introduce a new, lower-capacity battery option for the 2026 Escalade IQ. Currently, the 2025 Escalade IQ is equipped with a 205 kWh battery pack, as well as a dual-motor drive system producing 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque. The GM BT1 platform provides the underpinnings.

  1. Needs 750HP to move this energy sucking behemoth @ a whooping 12.5K of mass. Just think how much earth one needs to move with diesel powered equipment to extract the minerals to produce the battery. WOW! where are we going just to say we are helping the air/water to be clean.

    1. And think about what it will take to stop these heavy vehicles. No chance in surviving getting hit by one of these head on or t-boned.

Saw a video last year sometime of a Rivian decimating a concrete barrier
