The 2025 GMC Yukon debuts an extensive mid-cycle refresh, bringing with it a revamped exterior, an updated interior, new technology features, and revisions to both the engine and trim level lineup. Notably, MSRP figures for the 2025 GMC Yukon are a bit higher than they were for the 2024 model year, as covered previously. However, for those customers looking to equip the full-size SUV with the optional diesel engine, the 2025 model year will likely bring an even bigger price jump.
A closer look at the pricing details reveals that the base 2025 GMC Yukon Elevation 4WD equipped with the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax costs a staggering $12,445 more than the 2024 Yukon SLE 4WD with the previous 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel engine, and $5,745 more than the 2024 Yukon SLT 4WD with the LM2 engine. Meanwhile, the range-topping Yukon Denali 4WD sees a price jump of $7,160 compared to the 2024 model year.
This applies to both the standard-length Yukon and the extended-length Yukon XL:

One of the big reasons behind the inflated price tag is down to the required options, as selecting the new Duramax diesel engine also requires adding multiple packages, thus significantly increasing the total cost. For example, for the new Elevation trim, the 3.0L I6 LZ0 diesel requires Super Cruise and Trailering Package (RPO code PCL) without second-row power bucket seats (RPO code ATN) or requires second-row power bucket seats (RPO code ATN) with Elevation Premium Package (RPO code RGD) and Super Cruise (RPO code UKL).
Meanwhile, selecting the diesel engine for the Denali trim requires Super Cruise (RPO code UKL), the Advanced Technology Package (RPO code CWN) or Denali Reserve Package (RPO code PCN) without second-row power 60/40 split-folding bench seat (RPO code ATT) or Denali Reserve Package (RPO code PCN) and Premium Capability Package with Active Response 4WD (RPO code Z6E) without second-row power 60/40 split-folding bench seat (ATT) or Denali Reserve Package (RPO code PCN) and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension (RPO code F47) without second-row power 60/40 split-folding bench seat (RPO code ATT).

As a reminder, the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax replaces the previous 3.0L I6 LM2 offered previously, doling out 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. Like the rest of the full-size GM SUV lineup, the 2025 Yukon rides on the GM T1 platform and is built at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
