General Motors has just officially launched the 2025 GMC Sierra Denali in the South Korean domestic market, two years after the pickup truck’s first introduction to the Asian country.
The automaker launched the 2025 GMC Sierra Denali lineup as the full-size truck’s third model year in South Korea, as part of its 25th anniversary celebration of the Denali trim level that represents GMC’s pinnacle of luxury and refinement. The Sierra Denali was first launched in the South Korean market in early 2023, and the 2025 model year is now introduced with minor updates that enhance its unique proposition.
“GMC has launched the 2025 Sierra Denali in Korea to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the brand’s top-of-the-line Denali,” said GM Korea Communications Department. “Domestic consumers can experience the Denali through the 2025 GMC Sierra, currently on sale at the GMC online shop, and special gifts will be given to customers who purchase the vehicle by the end of April,” the company added.
Just like the 2024 model year, the 2025 GMC Sierra Denali continues to be offered in South Korea in two distinct configurations, including the standard-trim Denali and the market-exclusive Denali-X Special Edition – which is different from the range-topping Denali Ultimate trim available in North America. The differences between the two continue to be the Denali-X’s blacked-out trim with black logos, brownstone interior, and additional features.
Mechanically, both 2025 GMC Sierra Denali variants available in Korea come standard with the naturally aspirated 6.2L L87 V8 engine that produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, always coupled to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission and a standard 4×4 drivetrain. The Crew Cab Short Box body remains the only GMC Sierra configuration offered in the local market.
The 2025 GMC Sierra Denali is now available for sale through GMC Korea’s online store and the company’s flagship dealer network in the Asian country, where it remains the only full-size pickup on the market in a niche dedicated to lovers of American culture and big trucks. It is offered in Indigo Blue, Avalon White Pearl, Tuxedo Black, and Rush Gray exterior colors. Here are the 2025 Sierra Denali prices in Korea:
- 2025 Sierra Denali: 94,200,000 won (about $64,730 USD at the current exchange rate)
- 2025 Sierra Denali-X Special Edition: 95,900,000 ($65,900 USD)

I’m just curious. How many a year do they sell over there? You could fit a whole South Korean kitchen in the bed of the truck.
Truck made in North America (ish), shipped to South Korea and sells for less that the similar model in the USA.
USA MSRP gotta leave room for incentives when competition gets tough
