2025 GMC Acadia Gets Price Increase

The 2025 GMC Acadia represents the third-generation crossover’s second model year, bringing with it a few relatively small updates. Notable changes include the addition of a new eight-passenger seating configuration, as well as a few new aesthetic options. Notably, the 2025 GMC Acadia just got a small bump in pricing across all trim levels.

The 2025 GMC Acadia is now slightly more expensive than it was launch.

The GMC Acadia lineup now starts at $44,395 for the entry-level Elevation trim with front-wheel drive (FWD), while opting for all-wheel drive (AWD) increases the starting price to $46,395. The off-road-focused AT4, which is available exclusively with AWD, carries a starting price of $52,795. At the top of the lineup, the Denali trim starts at $55,495 for FWD configurations and $57,495 for AWD configurations.

Each pricing figure listed here includes $1,395 for the destination freight charge.

Compared to pricing at the launch of the 2025 model year, the Elevation trim is now $100 more expensive, while AT4 and Denali trims have each increased by $200.

2025 GMC Acadia Revised Starting MSRPs
Trim Level Drivetrain Powertrain 2025 MSRP + DFC
Elevation FWD Turbo 2.5L I4 LK0 $44,395
Elevation AWD Turbo 2.5L I4 LK0 $46,395
AT4 AWD Turbo 2.5L I4 LK0 $52,795
Denali FWD Turbo 2.5L I4 LK0 $55,495
Denali AWD Turbo 2.5L I4 LK0 $57,495

The 2025 GMC Acadia offers the same eight exterior paint color options as the 2024 model year. However, buyers will now have access to a few new interior colorways, with the Elevation trim offering four different choices, the AT4 featuring a single interior colorway, and the Denali trim offering two colorways. Interior materials include cloth, CoreTec (a synthetic leatherette material used across GM brands), and perforated leather upholstery.

Another key update is the addition of a new second-row bench seat for the Elevation trim. This update increases seating capacity from seven to eight passengers, while the second-row captain’s chairs are now part of the $2,535 Elevation Premium Package (RPO GHI), while remaning standard on AT4 and Denali variants. Meanwhile, the third row includes a 60/40 split-bench configuration. Notably, this marks the first time that GMC has offered an eight-passenger Acadia since the first-generation model (2007 through 2017 model years).

As for the mechanical specs, the 2025 GMC Acadia is once again powered by the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, which is rated at 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. Under the skin, the crossover rides on the GM C1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.

  2. It looks like a lot of people will have thier cars reposested even if a small recession hits. I just don’t know how mid class people are going to afford 50,60 thousand dollar cars. I’ts just crazy how car companies keep increasing prices.

    1. I’ve said this elsewhere, but the pricing for the corvette has remained relatively stable when you account for inflation. As you can see below, the corvette has been about the same in terms of cost to the customer since the C3 generation ended in 1982, over 40 years ago.
Year / Base Price / Adj. for inflation
      2025 / $69,995 / $69,995
      2020 / $59,995 / $73,879
      2015 / $53,995 / $73,394
      2006 / $44,490 / $71,272
      2001 / $40,475 / $73,431
      1990 / $32,479 / $80,986
      1980 / $13,000 / $53,081
      1970 / $5,192 / $43,634
      1962 / $4,038 / $42,759
