A week after first showing off the electric crossover in Brazil, General Motors has just revealed a teaser of the upcoming 2026 Chevy Spark EUV in Mexico.

The automaker’s Mexican subsidiary revealed the first teaser images of the upcoming 2026 Chevy Spark EUV in the domestic market, officially anticipating the imminent arrival of Chevrolet’s all-new zero-emission mini-utility vehicle to the Latin American country. In this regard, the company announced that it will incorporate a new all-electric model to the bowtie brand’s portfolio in Mexico with an intriguing video on social media.

“With the arrival of this EV to our portfolio, we will strengthen our electromobility offering, and we will have an additional option to our customers,” said Chevrolet Marketing Manager at GM Mexico, Ángel Pacheco. “They can opt for an electric vehicle designed to reflect their personality, with the technology and safety they expect, along with the support of Chevrolet, a brand with 90 years of presence in our country,” he added.

Although GM Mexico did not explicitly announce it, both the image and the teaser video show the characteristic features of the upcoming 2026 Chevy Spark EUV, starting with its distinctive box-shaped straight-line body silhouette, its unique front end, its signature front lighting with eight individual LED headlights in a horizontal format and the “0” shaped taillights of the Baojun Yep Plus – the original model from which the new Chevy variant is derived.

Notably, Mexico becomes the second country in the world where the upcoming all-electric 2026 Chevy Spark EUV is officially announced without mentioning its name after being shown at the ceremony celebrating GM and Chevrolet’s 100 years of operations in Brazil. However, the North American country could have an advantage over Brazil in getting the model more quickly, due to the close relationship that GM’s local subsidiary has with the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture.

The upcoming 2026 Chevy Spark EUV will be officially revealed in the coming weeks in Mexico – quite possibly before Brazil, which will become one of the first countries in the world where the off-road-looking urban crossover will go on sale. The brand claims that the model will revolutionize its local portfolio due to its affordability and unique style. All design, technology and configuration details will be announced very soon.
