Launching a mid-cycle refresh for the Big Red SUV nameplate, the 2025 GMC Yukon received a range of significant updates to exterior styling, cockpit design, and available tech. Now, GM Authority has learned, three wheel styles are no longer available to order.
The 2025 GMC Yukon increased the number of wheel options on offer from 14 to 20 different styles, but with the current three no longer offered, only 17 can now be optioned on the Yukon.
All three of the wheels that can no longer be ordered on the GMC Yukon for the remainder of the 2025 model year are LPO or dealer-installed options. The wheels involved include the following (with RPO codes listed in parenthesis along with LPO status):
- 22-inch Bright Chrome wheels (LPO, SF1)
- 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels (LPO, SF2)
- 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels (LPO, SSI)
All three wheel styles were optional on the Elevation, Denali and Denali Ultimate trim levels. The rollers were priced at $3,780, $3,795 and $3,795 respectively.
As initially uncovered by GM Authority, pricing for the 2025 Yukon starts at $68,895 for the new Elevation trim with RWD and ranges up to $103,295 for the Denali Ultimate trim in 4WD configuration. Prices are slightly higher for the Yukon XL, ranging from $71,895 to $106,295 for the same trim level and drivetrain combos. A $1,995 destination freight charge is already figured into these prices. The online configurator for the SUV is currently live.
For motivation, the 2025 GMC Yukon features three available powerplants, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine rated at 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the 6.2L V8 L87 dishing out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax developing 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. GM has tweaked the availability of these engines for certain trim levels as part of refreshing the nameplate.
Besides the addition of the Elevation trim level to the lineup, the 2025 Yukon loses the family-friendly 40/20/40 split front bench seat (RPO code AZ3) for the first row, reducing passenger capacity from 9 to 8 people as part of its refresh.
The vehicle continues to be underpinned by the GM T1 platform in spite of other changes. Production takes place at the GM Arlington Assembly plant in Texas, the facility where the Chevy Tahoe, the Chevy Suburban and the Cadillac Escalade also roll off the assembly line.

17 wheel choices is more than enough. I’d rather have 17 paint color choices.
