TF Sport is gearing up for the 2025 European Le Mans Series (ELMS). The team has officially revealed the striking livery for its LMGT3 entry, the No. 82 Corvette Z06 GT3.R, affectionately nicknamed the “Chromevette.”
The No. 82 Corvette Racing machine features the same graphic style seen on the team’s FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) entries, but with a chromed-out scheme rather than bright yellow. The No. 82 Vette sports a silver-gray base paint and boasts the iconic Corvette insignia on its roof, paired with a U.S. flag emblazoned on the hood. The Chromevette livery was inspired by Corvette’s secondary colors in motorsport and calls to mind an aluminum-based design complete with tonal stripes.
When the ELMS season starts, Charlie Eastwood, Rui Andrade, and Hiroshi Koizumi will share driving duties. The official test, which precedes the ELMS season, is scheduled for April 1st, 2025 at the Circuit de Catalunya, where the first championship round will be hosted. The opening race, the 4 Hours of Barcelona, is scheduled for April 6th.
TF Sport also hosts two entries in the FIA WEC, including the No. 81 Corvette of Eastwood, Tom Van Rompuy, and Rui Andrade; it also fields the No. 33 Vette of Ben Keating, Daniel Juncadella, and Johnny Edgar. It also fielded the No. 97 Corvette of Shane Van Gisbergen, Connor Zilisch, Scott McLaughlin, and Ben Keating as a one-off entry into the 2025 Rolex 24.
Corvette Racing has already been making headlines in the 2025 racing season. At the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona, the No. 13 Vette of AWA Racing scored the GTD division win. However, the No. 4 Corvette, which was racing for the GTD Pro win, tangled with a pair of BMW competitors. The scuffle resulted in damage to the No. 4 Vette, an incident that prompted driver Tommy Milner to show his displeasure with a choice gesture out the window. In fact, Milner is selling t-shirts to commemorate the viral on-track moment.

“The No. 82 Vette sports a silver-gray base paint and boasts the iconic Corvette insignia on its roof, paired with a U.S. flag emblazoned on the hood”…all I see is a Brit flag on the frunk.
Guess subtlety is lost on yall. Look again my guy
US Flag on the hood???? Looks like the Union Jack to me.
Take a closer look … here’s a hint: the stars and stripes are black 🙂
Putting an American flag on anything around the world is an embarrassment.
Very poor job with the Stars and Stripes in the middle. Very hard to see, also in reverse!!
Anyone ever been to the 24 hours at Le Mans race? Anyone planning on going?
Let’s make this easy for everyone else, if you look at the picture at the top of the page, in the center of the hood scoop is the beginning of the American flag. And, the stripes section of the flag is continuing up onto the roof of the car.
Also the flag is not ‘reversed’ either, this position is commonly called ‘fighting forward’, as in, if you were carrying the flag, on a pole, into battle, it would be waving in the wind by the leading edge, the edge that is attached to the pole. If the flag was actually reversed of this position, it would indicate a retreat, which is not what this Corvette team plans on doing.
I really liked the color of the #4 C7-R car, and this ‘Chromevette’ looks fantastic. I’ve never been a fan of yellow but, putting yellow on the car somewhere to offer some significance to the factory teams that kept the fight going would have been a decent enough.
Magnificent looking! Best looking race car. Puts FERRARI to shame as it should.
