After kicking off production of the second model year of the redesigned Traverse in the fall, General Motors has just officially announced the new 2025 Chevy Traverse in Colombia.

The automaker announced the arrival of the new 2025 Chevy Traverse in Colombia and simultaneously began taking orders for the third generation of the Chevrolet three-row crossover in the domestic market of that country. As such, the 2025 Traverse is the first vehicle launched by the bowtie brand in the Colombian market in the new calendar year, which is pursuing the renewal of its extensive local utility vehicle portfolio.

“Be the first to have the New Traverse, where you and your family will find comfort, technology and a style that doesn’t exist anywhere else,” GM Colombia said in a statement. “The new, completely redesigned 2025 Traverse adopts important new features in performance, comfort, technology and safety, including OnStar, the exclusive technology that can save your life in an accident,” the company added.

The new 2025 Chevy Traverse is officially announced in Colombia more than a year after the redesigned model was introduced in the U.S. market, and is expected to go on sale before the end of the first quarter of the year. The three-row crossover will arrive in the South American country with major design changes, an all-new powertrain and segment-leading, cutting-edge technologies.

Although the automaker has not yet revealed the details of the 2025 Chevy Traverse in Colombia, the Chevrolet Colombia website shows images of the model in the mid-level LT trim with the blacked-out Midnight Edition package. In any case, all 2025 Traverse units will be equipped with the new turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 engine developing 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, mated to the GM eight-speed automatic transmission.

The new 2025 Chevy Traverse is available to order in Colombia with a suggested base price of 259,990,000 pesos for the LT Midnight Edition variant, equivalent to approximately $62,500 USD at the current exchange rate. It’s expected to begin arriving at the brand’s official dealer network next month with innovative standard features such as the 17.7-inch infotainment system display, multiple drive assist systems and AWD.
