Parker Kligerman, driver of the No. 75 NASCAR Chevy Silverado RST, was all smiles after crossing the line first in a dramatic Truck Series race at Daytona on February 14th, 2025. That is, until he was disqualified for failing postrace inspection.
Kligerman put his No. 75 NASCAR Chevy to the point after a last-lap wreck tore up almost half the field during Friday night’s Truck Series race. He crossed the line ahead of Corey Heim, driver of the No. 11 Toyota TRD Tundra, and celebrated what would have been a monumental win on the front stretch.
Then, after postrace inspection was completed in the Truck Series garage, officials found that Kligerman’s race truck was too low on both sides of the rear end. The No. 75 NASCAR Chevy Silverado did pass pre-race inspection, meaning it was not in violation of specifications prior to the race. Kligerman’s NASCAR Chevy team, Henderson Motorsports, may appeal the penalty. But until then, Heim is recognized as the official winner of the season opening Truck Series race at Daytona.
The Toyota of Giovanni Ruggiero is now credited with the runner-up finish. Ford driver Ty Majeski was third, followed by the No. 9 Silverado of Grant Enfinger – which suffered crash damage in a mid-race incident – and the No. 7 Silverado of Justin Haley in fourth and fifth, respectively. Kligerman is credited with a last-place finish.
As a reminder, Kligerman is a part-time competitor in the Truck Series. He is also a pit reporter for NBC Sports, appearing on broadcasts during Cup Series races.

This happens CONSTANTLY in NASCAR…
Why even have a post-race celebration or victory lap?
There is NO winner until the NASCAR management picks one…
Often hours or DAYS later…
They should just have a board of judges, and give them 48 hours to decide which driver would be advantageous for/to the organization to win, and then come up with the arguable technical reasons why the other drivers didn’t win(are penalized).
The chiefs refs are in NASCAR
That’s what his girlfriend said.
Time for a change in the nascar ownership!
