The Jeep Wagoneer S was introduced as a 2024 model, exclusively in a Launch Edition trim. Now in its second model year, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S has a more affordable Limited trim, making its starting price closer to the Cadillac Lyriq.
The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Limited starts at $66,995, including the destination charge. That’s a nice price dip compared to the Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition, which starts at $71,995 for both the 2024 and 2025 model years.
“The Jeep Wagoneer S signifies our reentry into the premium midsize market, delivering an unparalleled blend of style, performance, and capability that our customers desire for their daily commutes,” Jeep brand CEO Bob Broderdorf said. “The new Limited model, starting at an appealing price of $66,995, further enhances its attractiveness, making it a top choice for those seeking the best in electric SUVs.”
Although the Limited is the base trim of the Wagoneer S, it’s still a well-equipped, premium EV. Features include 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and 45 inches worth of screen real estate. Options include Jeep’s outstanding 920-watt McIntosh audio system, an Obsidian appearance package, and an over-the-air Propulsion Boost Package that tunes the powertrain to 600 horsepower.
While the Wagoneer S Launch Edition offers 600 horsepower and 617 pound-feet of torque, the Wagoneer S Limited has the same dual-motor electric powertrain, but detuned at 500 horsepower and 524 pound-feet. Its 100.5 kWh battery has an estimated DC fast charging rate of 20 to 80 percent in 23 minutes.
The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S qualifies for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit in the U.S. That means it’s possible to get one for under $60k, at least for the time being. As we’ve noted here before, the days may be numbered for that tax credit.
This new, lower price tag makes the Jeep Wagoneer S a closer competitor to the Cadillac Lyriq. The Lyriq still boasts a lower starting price, but when the Wagoneer S becomes more common in Jeep dealerships, we can see EV shoppers cross-shopping the two crossovers. The ICE Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models have shown that people are willing to pay luxury SUV prices for Jeeps with “Wagoneer” branding, so it will be interesting to see if an EV can repeat that success.

it is a beautiful car, more beautiful of what GM today does
I agree, it is nice looking. Dig that red interior too.
Good luck with Jeep, quality control is non-existent, not even to mention this is their rush into the market EV. If Lyriq is worse to some people, this will be a total diaster.
The interior is certainly nice but the exterior looks like something costing 35 to 40K not 67!
It looks nice enough. Quality control has been a problem for Stellantis, but time will tell. However, with the 4-mile L87 engine story lurking above, I’m not sure that I’d be throwing too many rocks.
GM is so pathetic they even promote their competitors cars. Hide your bank accounts everybody, scary Mary is going to get you.
