The Buick Enclave entered its third generation in 2025, one model year later than its C1 platform mates, the Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia. It’s soon entering the second model year of its current generation, and GM Authority has learned when production will begin for the 2026 Buick Enclave.
The start of regular production (SORP) of the 2026 Buick Enclave is currently scheduled for July 14th, 2025. Dealers can begin placing orders on June 12th. Unsurprisingly, these are the same SORP and ordering dates as the 2026 GMC Acadia, which is built alongside the Enclave at the GM Lansing Delta Township facility in Michigan.
Since the new generation of the Buick Enclave just started arriving on dealer lots last summer, we don’t expect any significant changes for the 2026 model year. One possibility is the White Frost Tricoat (G1W) paint option being replaced with a yet-unnamed multi-layer white hue. The Chevy Equinox is swapping out Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, which is the same color as White Frost Tricoat, but with a different name, for a new Polar White (G4J) paint option. The GMC Terrain is making the same change. There’s no Buick name for this new paint color yet, but it’s one small change we could see to the 2026 Buick Enclave.
Although the third-generation Buick Enclave is true to form as a plus-size three-row crossover with generous interior space, it brings some pretty significant changes. It’s the first Enclave in North America that’s not powered by a V6, instead employing the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 engine. Compared to the 3.6L V6 LFY in the previous generation, the new turbo-four makes more power and torque while returning about the same fuel economy.
The third-generation Enclave also features a handsome new design inspired by the Buick Wildcat EV concept, which is in line with the new design language that’s spread throughout Buick’s entire North American lineup. Also, for the first time in any Buick model, the Super Cruise hands-free driving system is available.

The new G4J for GMC is called Glacier White, so it would stand to reason that since White Frost (G1W) was since 2016 across both brands that Buick will more than likely be using Glacier White as well.
Envision is one of the best designs and looks a bit like a Mercedes. I just preferred the original from facia and lighting.
Buick vehicles, in general, look unique and the brand is doing well w/only 4 offering
IMHO GM lost a large Enclave following by not offering a six-cylinder option.
I have owned two…but will not be vying for a third.
NO 4 Cylinders for me!
