The Cadillac Lyriq battery-electric crossover is getting special 21-inch wheels exclusive to the European region, according to the latest specifications published by GM’s luxury marque on its website.
Two wheel styles are on offer for the Cadillac Lyriq in Europe, one for the Luxury trim level and one for the Sport variant.
The Luxury trim gets 21-inch multi-spoke Diamond Cut aluminum wheels with Manoogian Silver finish (RPO code RQP), shown in the rendered image below:
The Sport trim level, meanwhile, rides on the 21-inch multi-spoke polished aluminum wheels with Satin Dark Android finish (RPO code RQG) depicted in the following rendered image:
For North America, the Cadillac Lyriq gets 20-inch and 22-inch wheels for both the 2024 model year and the 2025 model year. 22-inch rollers tend to appear more on higher trim levels, though one set of 22-inch wheels is offered as an LPO or dealer-installed option, with the vehicle arriving from the factory on temporary transit wheels, and can be selected for all trims.
However, the North American Lyriq does not get any 21-inch wheel choices, a situation holding true in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico alike. As such, unless GM changes its plans significantly, the exclusive European rollers appear unlikely to reach North American shores in the future, either.
As a reminder, the North American Cadillac Lyriq continues to ride on the GM BEV3 platform. The vehicle is assembled out of 24 percent fewer parts for 2025 as a result of GM’s Winning with Simplicity initiative. The Lyriq also received many changes and improvements for the latest model year, to the point where the crossover may have benefitted from an unannounced mid-cycle refresh.
GM batteries and GM drive motors propel the crossover, which is currently produced at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
