The automaker’s South American subsidiary activated a comprehensive marketing campaign simultaneously previewing the upcoming Chevy Spark EUV in all major countries of the region. Although it uses the same footage as the video shown in Mexico, the teaser for the upcoming Chevy Spark EUV that GM South America developed for the Brazilian and Argentine markets is a bit different. The commercial includes its own sequence of images and a different approach with the slogan “One car, many possibilities.” In contrast, the other countries use exactly the same Spanish version first published by Chevrolet Mexico.

Notably, the regional teaser of the upcoming Chevy Spark EUV marks the first time that GM has simultaneously announced a vehicle in each and every South American country where it has a presence. As such, the move becomes the largest marketing push yet executed by the subsidiary and reveals the strategic importance that the EV crossover will have. Until now, marketing teams and commercial strategy for each country operated separately.

The upcoming Chevy Spark EUV is expected to debut in the coming weeks in some of Latin America’s largest automotive markets, such as Brazil and Mexico, where the vehicle was first made official following our exclusive reveal just before the end of calendar year 2024. Developed exclusively by the SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) joint venture in China, the Spark EUV is Chevrolet’s first mass-market EV for emerging countries.

  3. Chevrolet should bring this vehicle to the USA as a very affordable entry level BEV. It looks enough like the Ford Bronco and forthcoming “International Scout“ SUV to be successful if GM and its’ dealer network don’t get greedy.
