In other words, the Escalade outsold all of its direct rivals on a combined basis. The Navigator family followed with a 19 percent segment share, the QX80 with a 12 percent share, and the LX with an eight percent share. The Grand Wagoneer eanred a seven percent share.
Below, we’ve included sales figures for full-size luxury crossovers for reference. Though they differ mechanically from the aforementioned body-on-frame SUVs by utilizing a unibody construction, they are typically cross-shopped and considered alternatives to regular full-size luxury SUVs. Currently, the only full-size luxury crossovers are the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class. The rumored Audi Q9 is incoming at some point to slot into this space as another rival. Nevertheless, the Escalade family outpaced these crossovers as well, though they do outsell all other full-size SUV entries here.

Refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum
The GM Authority Take
Cadillac Escalade sales kept it firmly in the lead, this time accounting for over half of all body-on-frame full-size luxury SUV sales in the U.S. and outselling all of its direct rivals combined.
We posit the impressive performance to the launch of the refreshed 2025 Escalade, which makes the product substantially more competitive and attractive to buyers. Looking ahead, we believe that Escalade sales will continue improving so long as supply and inventory can keep up.
That said, the Escalade will be competing against the all-new 2025 Lincoln Navigator, which is redesigned for the 2025 model year. On the other hand, large unibody crossovers like the X7 and GLS-Class – which are often cross-shopped with the Escalade – seem to pose an even biggest threat than body-on-frame rivals.
About Cadillac Escalade
The refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade features a notable wealth of updates and changes for the SUV, including revised exterior styling, a new cabin dominated by a massive 55-inch pillar-to-pillar display, over 100 new ambient lighting color options, and a reworked powertrain lineup.
Further highlights of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade include a new power open-and-close door feature, 5G connectivity, an AKG Studio audio system, standard Super Cruise, and a new Executive Second-Row Seating Package. The refreshed full-size luxury SUV also benefits from suspension improvements.
The 2025 Escalade drops three paint colors, and the Escalade-V drops two, with three new ones arriving, while gaining new carbon fiber interior trim and a key change to the steering wheel. Also, the nameplate will get a special matte paint color for the first time ever. Here are all the paint colors, the interior colorways, and available wheels.
Powertrain options include the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine as standard, while the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine is standard for the Escalade-V. The 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine option is no longer offered, as GM Authority was the first to report, and here’s why. The 2025 Escalade can tow up to 7,200 pounds.
To meet the anticipated demand for the refreshed model, GM will increase production of the 2025 Escalade Sport Platinum and the 2025 Escalade-V.

Where are the people to say that Lexus are better and blá blá blá hahahah.?
Lexus LX does not sell as well.
Even here in Qatar, Cadillac is 1:1 ratio almost with Lexus LX.
If you are asking about reliability…forget even asking about it. BOTH the V35A and the 6.2 engines are failure prone…..recalled V35As have still failed.
I drove a Ford Expedition. Do a quick lane change at highway speeds. You’ll regret it.
this shows people still want an ICE vehicle.
Looks like the Lexus is starting to impede on IMF into sales in this segment
It is successful because of its style and ICE
I AM A CADILLAC ESCALADE PLATINUM PREMIUM OWNER !! CHANGE THE PARTS BACK TO 100 % METAL !!! NOT PLASTIC NOT ALUMINUM !! GASOLINE WILL NEVER MIX WITH THOSE ELEMENTS!!! FIX IT !!! Call it what it is. A Chevrolet Suburban.
Or a fake Cadillac.
If only Ford would allow Lincoln to offer a full- HP V-8 with all the trim and special interior worthy of a Lincoln. But you can’t be faster than a Mustang so if will never happen for Lincoln.
Given the Navigator’s heavy curb weight, poor aerodynamics, and a high center of gravity, it will never be faster than a Mustang, beside driving the tall, heavy Navigator over 100 mph is not recommended.
