A day after the global debut of Chevrolet’s new all-electric crossover in Brazil, General Motors held the regional unveil of the 2026 Chevy Spark EUV in the Middle East.
The company has just revealed the main features of the all-new 2026 Chevy Spark EUV at a global vehicle reveal event in the avant-garde Dubai Design District in the United Arab Emirates, where in addition to exhibiting the vehicle to the specialized press, a test drive open to the general public has been organized. At the presentation, the GM Middle East subsidiary stated that the Spark EUV will accelerate the transition to electric vehicles in the region.
“The Chevrolet Spark EUV is the coolest and most attainable vehicle in its segment – and is positioned to drive EV adoption in the Middle East,” said President and Managing Director of GM Africa and Middle East, Jack Uppal. “Not only is it fun to drive, but the Spark EUV also offers customers the chance to personalize their vehicle with a variety of customization options, making it uniquely their own,” he added.
The all-new 2026 Chevy Spark EUV debuted globally in the range-topping Activ trim level with striking two-tone bodywork that the company says is designed “to turn heads and spark excitement.” The adventurous version includes blacked-out 16-inch wheels and can be chosen in six vibrant colors including Sea Blue with a Polar White roof, Track Yellow, Tiger Blue, Gentle Gray with a Star Twinkle Black roof, and Milky Tea.
For the first time since it was officially shown in Brazil, GM revealed that the 2026 Chevy Spark EUV is powered by a single motor developing 75 kW or 101 horsepower and 180 Nm or 133 pound-feet of instantaneous torque, sent to the front wheels. It is fed by a 42 kWh LFP battery pack with a remarkable range of 360 km or 224 miles on a single charge, while including multiple charging options such as DC Fast Charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30 to 80 percent in just 35 minutes.
The all-new 2026 Chevy Spark EUV will be officially launched in Middle East countries during the summer months, when it is scheduled to begin arriving at Chevrolet dealerships in UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, Iraq, Oman and Egypt. It will be offered with one of two cabin color combinations and will come standard with a 10.2-inch infotainment system touchscreen, a digital driver instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera system and multiple active driving aids.
“Global Chevrolet selected the Middle East to lead the global reveal of the Chevrolet Spark EUV because this is a tech-forward region where people embrace new technologies and want to stand out from the crowd. We know that customers in the Middle East are going to love the Spark EUV and we can’t wait to get more and more people behind the wheel,” Uppal finished.
