After confirming the all-electric crossover for the Latin country in the middle of last year, General Motors has just officially introduced the all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq in Mexico.
The automaker unveiled the all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq in Mexico during a special event with the media and celebrities, held in a very exclusive tourist area on the Mexican coast. The official introduction of the new 2025 Optiq for the Mexican market served as a prelude to the pre-sale period of the model in that country, where interested customers were able to place their reservation starting on February 12th.
“We are very excited to introduce the all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq, our all-electric SUV that features an energetic driving feel, a unique attribute of Cadillac,” said Marketing Manager for Cadillac at GM Mexico, Teresa Vera. “This SUV reflects the reinvention of the brand on its path to electrification,” she added.
The all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq was officially introduced in Mexico as the entry point for the next generation of Cadillac luxury electric vehicle customers, in a reinterpretation of what an entry-level vehicle from the brand represents in the era of zero-emission propulsion. According to the brand, the 2025 Optiq will stand out in the local market of the Latin country for its distinctive design, handcrafted details and high level of technology at a competitive price.
While all configuration details and trim levels that will be available in Mexico have not yet been revealed, the new 2025 Cadillac Optiq will be offered in the range-topping Sport trim level that features a distinctive appearance with its exclusive lighting structure in the grille, Gloss Black moldings, and blacked-out wheels. It comes standard with AWD and a two-motor setup generating 300 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.
The all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq officially begins pre-sales in Mexico and will be available in the coming weeks at the country’s Cadillac EV dealer network, which currently covers a total of 19 stores throughout Mexico. Locally manufactured in Mexico, the electric crossover will stand out in that market for its range of up to 480 km on a single charge, as well as the most complete list of technology and safety equipment in its class.
The pre-sale price of the 2025 Cadillac Optiq Sport in Mexico is 1,289,900 pesos, about $62,700 USD at the current exchange rate.
