We’ve been following the Cadillac Lyriq-V story here at GM Authority since 2021, and the high-performance electric luxury crossover is finally arriving for the 2026 model year. Now, we’re taking a closer look at one of the stylish option packages for the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V, the Exterior Carbon Fiber Package (RPO CFZ).
This appearance package is available for both the base and Premium trims of the Lyriq-V for an extra $5,700. It swaps some of the gloss black accents that come with the standard Lyriq-V Exterior Appearance (GF0) for carbon fiber. Specifically, it brings a carbon fiber front splitter, rocker inserts, and rear valance inserts.
Since Cadillac’s carbon fiber exterior trim is a bit dark, it doesn’t look radically different from the standard gloss black trim it replaces. However, we like the subtle yet sporty aesthetic that the carbon fiber brings to the appearance of this performance crossover. In this case, carbon fiber is more about appearance than weight savings. It’s good for Cadillac drivers who appreciate the subtle details.
Pricing for the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V starts at $79,990 for the base V-Series and $85,190 for the V-Series Premium. Although already very well-equipped, there are still some additional exterior options you can add that drive up the price tag. Premium paint options range from $625 to $3,995; Argent Silver Metallic (GXD) is the only no-cost paint option. 22-inch Black alloy wheels (LPO SET) are available for $3,995, and you can get them wrapped in all-season tires rather than summer tires for an extra $100. Red brake calipers are a $595 option.
A few option packages available in addition to the Exterior Carbon Fiber Package include the Premium Carpet Package for $695 and the Blue Accent Package (PDL), Bronze Accent Package (PDJ), and Red Accent Package (PDK), all available for $4,595. A couple of options exclusive to the V-Series Premium include the Oxford Stone with Garnet accents interior color (ELT) for no extra cost and Magnus Metal Frost paint (GBL) for $3,995.
Every 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V is powered by a dual-motor powertrain juiced by a 102 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This configuration delivers 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, allowing the Lyriq-V to rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds with Velocity Max mode activated.
Under the skin, the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V rides on the GM BEV3 platform, the same architecture that underpins the standard Lyriq. Production takes place at the GM Spring Hill Assembly plant in Tennessee.

You could just have those parts wrapped for a lot less money. Carbon fiber trim pieces make me laugh at the chump that wasted the money for them. Why are 0 to 60 times relevant for a vehicle that’s going to save the earth.
Why are 0-60 times relevant for a segment of vehicles that grandmas drive?
I do care. I have been driving since 1968 and I had Camaros (1967 RS) and and Mustangs (1972 Mach-1).
