2026 Buick Encore GX Pricing Uncovered

The 2026 Buick Encore GX debuts the seventh model year for the first-generation sub-compact crossover. While the 2024 model year introduced a refresh for the Encore GX, the subsequent 2025 and 2026 model years debut only a few relatively minor updates. Now, GM Authority has uncovered pricing details for the 2026 Buick Encore GX, revealing a modest $100 price drop compared to the 2025 model year.

The 2026 Buick Encore GX is slightly less expensive than the 2025 model year.

Kicking off the 2026 Buick Encore GX lineup is the base-level Preferred trim, which starts at $27,195 when equipped with front-wheel-drive and the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine. As for what’s under the hood, the 2026 Buick Encore GX continues to offer two engine options. As a reminder,  the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine replaced the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine with the launch of the 2025 model year. The LBP engine produces 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque and is E85-compatible, making the Encore GX a flex-fuel vehicle. Meanwhile, the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T engine is optional, rated at 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque, though the L3T does not support E85 fuel.

The Buick Encore GX rides on the GM VSS-F platform, while production takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

  1. It’s NOT a drop. You have to buy the spare tire separately and that’ll certainly be more than $100. So it’s an INCREASE. Don’t keep those blinders on, GMA.

    1. That’s if they want a spare, many don’t even think about it or wouldn’t change it if they had it, they would call AAA. So yes, it is a drop for probably 80% of this buyer demographic…

  2. It’s still one of the better values for a small SUV. Has a lot of features especially when you get past the preferred trim which still does not have power seats.
