General Motors pulled the sheets on the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe in November of 2023, showing off a long list of updates and changes. Chief among these was a new optional diesel engine, the introduction of the semi-autonomous GM Super Cruise hands-free driver assist system to the Tahoe lineup, and new styling inside and out. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe RST, comparing the exterior and interior to the preceding model year.
Let’s start outside, where we see both model years draped in Radiant Red Tintcoat paint (paint code GNT).
Up front, the 2024 Tahoe RST rocks a rectangular grille with black inner detailing and the signature Chevy bowtie emblem mounted on a pair of horizontal accent bars. By comparison, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe RST debuts a more technical-looking grille with intricate inner detailing and a single horizontal accent bar.
The 2024 Tahoe RST’s headlights are mounted higher in the fascia with a more rectangular shape and checkmark LED accents, while the 2025 model adopts a sharper and more dynamic design with larger LED signatures, primary illumination lower in the fascia, and thinner upper lighting signatures. Moving down the fascia, the 2024 model’s lower bumper features a relatively simple design, while the 2025 version integrates additional detailing, plus a single lower accent line small lower fog lights.
Viewed from the side, both the 2024 model and the 2025 model sport large alloy wheels, with a split-spoke layout and multi-colored finish. Black window surrounds complement black lower body lines.
Finally, in the rear, the 2024 model uses white and red inner graphics its LED tail lights, while the tail lights on the refreshed model incorporate darker graphics. The hatch shows a more technical-looking center styling line as well. The 2024 Tahoe RST also presents a simple rear bumper, while the 2025 model revamps the rear with a more dynamic bumper design and quad exhaust setup.
Moving inside, we have both models finished in the Jet Black / Victory Red (RPO code HVA) colorway. The 2024 Chevy Tahoe RST features a more segmented layout, with the central infotainment screen and driver information readout housed in standalone enclosures. Physical buttons and knobs dominate the center stack, offering easy access to climate and media controls.
By contrast, the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe RST presents a large, curved digital display that connects the driver’s instrument cluster and infotainment system with a single, unified aesthetic. Physical buttons are minimized, with many functions integrated into the digital interface. The steering wheel was also updated, showing a sleeker and more angular design compared to the chunkier steering wheel on the 2024 Chevy Tahoe RST.
As a reminder, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe RST offers three engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine. All 2025 Tahoe variants ride on the GM T1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
