Among the five paint colors added to the palette for the  2025 Chevy Silverado EV, more than tripling the two colors offered for the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV, most are blues or grays, either light or dark, but at the cooler end of the color spectrum.
However, one paint color for the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV is much brighter, an upbeat red-orange hue – Habanero Orange. That’s what GM Authority is checking out in detail here.
Tagged with color code GAG and touch-up paint code WA-221K, Habanero Orange is among seven exterior colors making up the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV palette. The complete lineup of exterior paints for the model year is shown here:
- Black (GBA)
- Blue Smoke Metallic (GAI – new for 2025)
- Habanero Orange (GAG – new for 2025)
- Riptide Blue Metallic (GJV – new for 2025)
- Slate Gray Metallic (GNO – new for 2025)
- Summit White (GAZ)
- Zephyr Blue Matte Metallic (GLG – new for 2025)
Habanero Orange is offered at no extra charge on both the LT and RST trim levels of the 2025 Silverado EV, but not the Work Truck (2WT, 5WT, 8WT) trim. It can be combined with all LT and RST interior colorways.
For reference purposes, the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV gets four interior colorways with three variations on Jet Black Evotex for various trim levels:
- Jet Black, Evotex
- Black / Sky Cool Gray, Evotex
For buyers who prefer a more blacked-out appearance, the Black Package Plus (RPO code PDK) for the LT trim and the Dark Package RST (RPO code PDL) for the RST trim level offer dark nameplates, wheels and decals. The Gameday Tailgate Package (RPO code PDH), also new for 2025, optionally adds an audio system, lights, and other upgrades to the tailgate. Six wheel styles are offered on the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV.
Pricing for the LT Extended Range 2025 Chevy Silverado EV starts at $75,195, while the RST Extended Range begins at $89,395, and $97,895 is the starting MSRP for the RST Max Range. The online configurator is live on Chevrolet’s website for builds and ordering.
AWD is provided by front and rear electric motors utilizing GM drive motor technology and GM battery technology with up to 754 horsepower depending on the trim level. The Silverado EV rides on GM’s BT1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

Gawd. Seeing this come down the road would cause small children to start screaming. Cool it with the in-your-face colors on large vehicles. GM needs a new paint master, stat.
Nice to see a true color as an addition. There should be no less than 10 colors available for a vehicle that is this expensive. And not everyone has to like every color, just give us choices. All that said, I’ll never buy this vehicle as it doesn’t fit my needs for needing a real truck but to some it will.
And yet they will still be collecting dust on the lot.
Now that’s a very bold color! It will sure bring people onto the dealer lot just to take a peak at it. I for one not interested in it, but I bet it will get looks just for it’s boldness
